Apparently pre-orders are really low for Atlus to do this, last time they did it was for 3D Dot Game Heroes. Guess they're not anticipating another Demon's Souls with this one...

There was a press release yesterday from Atlus, 39.99 is the MSRP for this title.

well 3d dot did really well from what i heard. alot better then altus was exspecting.

I think they realized they were releasing it at a terrible time and hoped a lower price would entice purchases. At least, that's the way the e-mail they sent out sounded.

I wanted it to be an RPG.
