Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

It's still really weak bundle. I was tempted to buy GalaCivII on the last steam sale, but I resisted. Now I'm going to wait until it appears in a bundle. Money saved, great!
They don't hours on these short new bundles right?
Do you mean time limits? Then yes. If you mean happy hours? Then no.

Also, another game I think I already have :(

Any regs who need help with the galastore bundles I bought in so I should get them at the reduced price.

Haha, that was some bad typing, yes, I meant happy hours. Thanks :)

ahahah, they removed the Helldorado bundle and the Crazy Machine bundle. They're selling individual keys at the same price of the complete bundle.

Crud.

I wanted The Rockin' Dead.

If anyone missed the gala store bundles it seems these games will be in the next bundle stars.

at least I see Whispered World, Helldorado and Mata Hari there.

Is the Paypal sign in page in Italian for everyone else? I feel rather uncomfortable with it since it wasn't like this before. I really want Sacred Gold for the wife and myself.

there's no problem.

Hmm, I want Mata Hari, and also Alter Ego from the current Classic Adventure Bundle. I already have Black Mirror 2 and 3 on GG. $4 for the two games I care about isn't too bad, but I'd hate to pay $4 and then have one or both of them show up in the next Bundle Stars. Decisions, decisions.

Awesome, thanks!

Now its saying I might have an international fee with my CC if I don't use my bank account, wtf.

Mata Hari will probably be in the next Bundle Stars. Not sure about Alter Ego. I found this post on SPUF:
I know this picture was posted here before but I think I know what games are here.

The Whispered World, Helldorado, Mata Hari, Cargo: The Quest for Gravity. I think I also see Crazy Machines Elements there.

All Viva Media games and these are already on gala store bundles.
Ah, okay, so the retail version of Crazy Machines Elements matches then.

The only one we don't know is #3. Already have Helldorado and Cargo, but not a bad bundle for the $6 they do on average.

Yeah.. so it looks like the guy on SPUF was right with his guesses then. Looks like I'll be buying it. I skipped most of the Indie Gala store bundles. Only bought the Skydrift one at the minimum price, and Black Mirror 2 + 3 on GG. Only game I have from that set is Cargo.

Yup only thing I have is cargo too. Ill be getting it.

I've grabbed most of the galastore bundles, so the Bundle Star bundle would be a no go for me. I'd only really be lacking Helldorado, and Storm Frontline Nation, I guess.

I'm looking at the Magicka bundle I bought during happy hour and I can't seem to find the soundtracks. Am I not looking hard enough, or are they only included if you purchase a full bundle?

Always wanted to play Galactic Civ, happy to see it in the new bundle.

:whistle2:( The only one that I want is The Whispered World, and those bundles have aways been at fixed prices.
I'm looking at the Magicka bundle I bought during happy hour and I can't seem to find the soundtracks. Am I not looking hard enough, or are they only included if you purchase a full bundle?
This bundle was just a bunch of Steam keys - no soundtracks were included.

If you are looking for the Magicka soundtrack in particular, you can download it for free from:

http://www.magickagame.com/media/music

As for the Bundle Stars bundle, I'm only looking for Cargo - since everyone seems to be looking at different games from the bundle, maybe we can get a group buy going.
It looks like they added a new mystery Steam game.. I don't remember seeing a slot for it before.
Yes, it wasn't there before... it seems that they're not selling a lot with this bundle.

I find it difficult to work up enough enthusiasm to post this, but they've unlocked some of the bonuses:

- Fibrillation (game, previously in Bundle-in-a-Box)
- Defcon + Darwinia Soundtracks (OST, previously in HIB)
- Stardate - 12 12 12 (music, currently PWYW on Bandcamp)

Only one Steam game remaining to unlock.

Man i didnt even know there was a new bundle! I'd be in on a happy hour gb too.

Missed on this HH, but I did buy in early so I'll catch the next one. Not taking reserves, but judging from the prices I see listed this one should be pretty cheap.

Damn 5 gift buy has dropped around 5 bucks since I purchased mine... I thought they normally jacked the price up even more then normal during happy hour.
Damn 5 gift buy has dropped around 5 bucks since I purchased mine... I thought they normally jacked the price up even more then normal during happy hour.
They usually do. I don't know if this bundle hasn't been selling well this time around or if they stopped doing it, but they used to jack it up big time inflating the price of the group buys.

They probably just haven't raised the price of the gift packs yet. They seem to need to do it manually. Sometimes if you get in early, you can catch them before they've done it.

EDIT: on second thought, it looks like the price is actually dropping. It was tiny bit over $19 for the 5-pack a few minutes ago. Now it's $18.97.

EDIT#2: And now it's up to $19.06. So it's fluctuating.
