Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

Unlock Second Week

I'm only missing Gorky and Knights of Pen & Paper at the moment. Unless they add some interesting games (that I don't already have) as bonuses, I'll probably be giving this one a miss unless it's going for

Hmmmm.  Maybe.... hopefully the 2nd week unlocks are appealing.  In the same boat re: only really interested in Gorky and Knights o' P&P.

I will likely be in for a happy hour buy as well...want Two Worlds DLC and really want Knights of Pen and Paper almost bought when steam had it on sale. Also that shoot em up on Desura looks aight and Gorky as well...this would have been amazing had the Nyu games not been in other bundles.

Two Worlds 2 DLC is tasty-looking, as is Knights of Pen and Paper.  CK2 would be very tasty-looking if I didn't already have it.

Now I'm wondering if you're planning to play these games or eat them...

Satazius and Ether Vapor are the two most interesting to me. I've got most of the other stuff. Even at $5 it still beats the price Capcom has them on sale for at Steam. I may just wait to see if they do a HH.

If only we could eat our backlog... that would solve most of our problems. :joystick:
Or create a whole new one.

While I wouldn't personally recommend Ether Vapor, it and Satazius were both in a Groupees bundle so you can very likely find keys for <$1 each in the trading thread, if those are the only ones you really want.

Looking forward to see what the mystery game unlocks are but as is its an insta-buy for me.

Crusader Kings II and Knights of Pen and Paper look really good.

Ive also always seemed to miss bundles with Two Worlds II + DLC so that is a bonus.

Theres a couple I already have but I tend to give leftovers to friends or trade them for other bundle games ive missed so it all works out!

Getting the full thing. Quite a nice bundle!

Also, if there is demand I can host a happy hour bundle d(^_^)

We should just rename the thread to the Indie Fox bundle. Or Fox and Friends. Or "My gamedealer is a cheap ass fox"
I'm sorry, but to continue using that phrase, I insist you pay me royalties. Otherwise, I respectfully request that you cease and desist the usage of any phrase referring to fox as a dealer. ;)

MMXIII, patent pending

Any guesses on the bonus games?  Because of it's history I wouldn't be surprised to see CK1 or one of CK2's DLC.

EDIT: What in the world?!  Three of those are from Capcom?

OBJECTION!!!

If i were to reference something you said, you would be in right in your judgement.

TAKE THAT!!

It was a very subtle reference to a popular Korean show, "My girlfriend is a nine-tailed fox".

I rest my fox.

They were localized by Nyu Media, so it's sorta a special arrangement. As I talked to Spoder about last night, I wouldn't expect any other non-Nyu Media Capcom games in any bundles. My guess is probably something else from Paradox, which could very well be CK1/2DLC, though I really hope it's not.

Maybe Cherry Tree will show up. Does that game actually have comedy in it? Are there portions where it's genuine stand-up or something?

Another Topware game could show up too. I wouldn't mind Jack Orlando or Pressure.

You don't want cherry tree. I'm on mobile so I can't go into detail, but I have a steam recommendation up if you want to check it out. Suffice it to say though I was rather disappointed :whistle2:(

Final unlocks are Roaming Fortress (Desura) and  Darkest Hour - A Hearts of Iron Game (Shteam)

Now to wait for the inevitable heppy hour but even then not sure if it's gonna be worth it since I already have most of the games...

Roaming Fortress looks nice....decent value though many repeats at happy hour price it will hurt a little less. Not an exciting IndieGala by far though.

Still no HH for IG October, but they have a new one up, IG Red Faction.

There won't be any HH for that one, but they do have 10 gift packs people can buy if they are interested.

You're positive about no HH? I missed the Humble Bundle Gorilla was in so I was thinking of getting it, but I'd prefer the $2 HH price to $4 :oldman:

EDIT: didn't realize MSRP was still $19.99. $3.99 is the cheapest it's been on Steam, so I guess this is as good a deal as I will get.

yes unless u got 3.99 from amazon thq bundle for 7.49 with other games

Hmm, seems unlikely given THQ's demise that any of those bundles will come back. Would love to have picked them up but you can't win them all.
yea i meant to say if u had before but this unlikley like homefront has been to hell since then. now shouldd i buy this for frined or not that the question

Well, anything is possible with Indie Gala, but whenever they structure the gift packs like this (10 gift pack option) they've never had a HH. They just give you a discount if you buy a 10 gift pack.

Red Faction remains one of my favorite games ever, but I played it when it first came out on PS2.
