Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

Meh.. all repeats of other bundles. Pass.
Indie Gala Tropico is live! Wonder if we will get happy hour for this one, since they have 3 tiers.

$6.98 for Tropico 4
I already own Reloaded & Tropico 3. So unless there's a Happy Hour, I'd just assume apply that $7 towards the Tropico 4 collection. Which should be around $8 after a 75% discount with a 20% GreenManGaming coupon/GamersGate "Whoops" discount applied on top.

I'm passing I own all the tropicos, got the tropico 4 collectors edition bundle with all the dlc for 3 dollars a few weeks back from some croation site.
The site layout is really weird. It's using the same format as the weekly deals, yet it's supposed to be a bundle..
lol, I saw that too. It fixed itself before I could check out though.

Probably just as well. They'd almost certainly never honer it. I'd end up with only Reloaded.

Oh yeah? Well, I was able to check out multiple times. Indie Gala has made me rich!

lol, no I meant that I was gonna pay a buck.

My last post makes me look like an idiot. Obviously I didn't meant that I thought they'd give me $79. I thought I might be able to get the full bundle for just a buck.

EDIT: By the way, it appears to be a weekly bundle. So Happy Hour seems unlikely.

Do the prices really change that much? Im watching it like the stock market, ready to get that amazing deal, but after 5 mins, I think im wasting my time lol

TBH I don't think it's worth watching the price.. the deal isn't that great. I'd prefer getting a full collection of all the Tropico games + DLC.

what is going on with the high BTA prices lately, first the humble double fine bundle and now this gala tropico bundle, I want to get Tropico 4 since its only one I don't have but I'm not paying $7 for it

This is definitely a weekly and not a bundle. Even if they did pull a HH (which I don't think they will) they have no place for a "group" buy chart so it wouldn't be that cheap if they did pull one out. I just think they are making such a big deal about it because it's one of their higher profile games that they've managed to put on sale.

I believe gala hates mobile browsers. It is mega difficult to navigate their site. I want to buy the bundle, but It may take me a lot of time to do it.

This!

Tropico 4 complete was already $10 on steam a month back. There's little point in buying 3 atm, since 4 is so similar (and a slightly improved). The only price level that makes sense here is $1, even then it's only $0.74 less than past steam sales prices.

I have been stalking the Steam trading thread the last few weeks looking to pick up Tropico 3 or 4, but always seem to just miss the sales. Is it worth paying the $8 to get all the games or should I wait to pick up Tropico 4 on sale somewhere else and pay no mind to the other games?

Tropico 3 & 4 here are sans DLC. This bundle is not worth paying more than $1 for. I'd suggest catching up on the last page of posts.

Thanks. I actually did read through a lot of the post but I saw a lot of "I own this game or that game already, so Ill wait for Tropico 4 to go on sale." I don't own any of these games, so was wondering if the package was good.

I did miss that the 2 games don't have the DLC, so I toss in $1 like you suggested to get a taste of the franchise and pick up 4 if I like it.

I got the android bundle myself, i was in at $4 for Great Big War Game, both the Trainz games and took a shot on 9th Dawn. The last 3 unknowns are a hopeful gamble. BTW, SS: KA sucks, so SS fans need not bother. Nexus 7 here.
A little under three days left on the Tropico bundle -- chances of happy hour... fading...
My understanding was that the Tropico bundle was a Gala Weekly sale, which they have thus far not had Happy Hours on.

Ah, didn't notice it was pegged as a weekly. Although I guess since it was only up for a week would have been an indicator (since the normal ones seemingly last forever).

so, some of the extras for the Indie Gala Mobile 3 were added. interesting that the download link for Fruit Blitz downloads Pirate Planet...

edit: appears to be fixed, now.

That's it! No more buying Paradox packs from Amazon. All those games eventually end up in Indie Gala bundles eventually. If I hadn't already decided to pass on the Mobile 3 bundle, I'd be kinda ticked off.

EDIT: By the way, I believe that Fruit Blitz is a repeat from IG2. Unless there are two games out there named Fruit Blitz.

Naval War and Pirates of Black Cove were like the only two paradox pack games I hadn't bought so I got them here and with Groupees.
Is it just me or does it make no sense to add a Steam game to a mobile bundle that consists of nothing but Android games?
I'm guessing they added it because the bundle is selling poorly. Steam keys help sales, no matter what bundle they're added to.

They are doing a sort of half happy hour for the Tropico bundle, you can get 10 gifts now. If anyone is interested send me a PM, if I get enough people I will purchase and figure out prices.

If you scroll down a bit to look at the:

It shows 10 gifts now instead of the normal 5

To save a click through for anyone, at 10 people it's like $3.50 - ish. Which really isn't that bad. I'd have been in if I didn't already have T4 complete.

I think that we're all so used to $1.50 HH IG bundles that $3.50 feels like daylight robbery! ;)

I think I need to get some perspective...

Even at $3.50 I'll pass. From what I've read, the DLC is really worth buying, seems better to just wait for a Tropico complete collection.

But now that you've got my perspective.. I'll be charging you $3.50 ;)

I don't think anything related to Indie Gala has not felt like somebody was being robbed in the transaction, though the victim seems to be in constant flux.
