Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

I'm definitely in for a Happy Hour bundle, and if they don't do it, may even buy the upper tier at around $5-6 since I'm a sucker for adventure games and I only have one of them so far.

The title of the Taliban game links to its GOG page although I guess it's DRM-free. Wack.

off topic

The Taliban, even at the best it can muster, is a ragtag group of swagless bitches. I would tag one with my gat and use his scalp as a rag if the situation presented itself. Trace me!

I'll probably wind up picking this one up before its over. I actually only own a couple of the ones that are showing already and A New Beginning was on my watchlist. Interested to see what the bonuses are though. I would love for them to throw in Dark Eye.

Looks like Indie Gala June is up! Three tiers this time.

1st tier:

Creatures: The Albian Years (DRM-Free?)

Pirates of the Black Cove (STEAM)

Bonus game (DESURA)

2nd tier:

Chester (DESURA)
Sword of the Stars: Complete Collection (STEAM)
Vessel + Original Concept Art (STEAM)
AquaNox (STEAM)

Bonus game (STEAM)

3rd tier:

Star Ruler (STEAM)
Edna & Harvey: Harvey's New Eyes (STEAM)
A New Beginning Final Cut (STEAM)

Bonus game (STEAM)

Bonus game (STEAM)

Bonus game (STEAM)
Some nice games in there and I'm interested to see what the bonus games will be =P

Ones that really stand out: Vessel, Sword of the Stars, Edna and Harvey and New Beginning all with metacritic scores of 70+

Could someone tell me what an indiegala profile is? Do you get a profile by purchasing a bundle? I made an account on the galastore, but there's no profile on there. I can link a profile to it, though.

I'd also be up for a happy hour. Only visible game I'm vaguely interested in I haven't got is A New Beginning, and at happy hour prices I'd be fine buying the bundle just for that. Who knows if any of the hidden games will be decent.

MHC will totally buy my happy hour bundle, Fox.  He accepts payments in caaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrds.

if i pay like 6 bucks am i locked in for all the tiers later? ive bought humble bundles to donate to childs play but dont think ive bought any from here

btw what are HH bundles and happy hours you guys keep mentioning?

HH = Happy Hour on most (not all) bundles IG runs one or more "happy hours" after the first week.  People who buy in early, are then able to buy a lot of "gifts" cheap (due to multipler effect during happy hour), so CAGs like us organize into IG HH "group buys".  See this thread.  Usually this winds up being slightly under $2 per person.

Edit: Fox is my pusher.

Two games have now unlocked.

First tier: Survivor Squad
Third tier: Sword of the Stars II: Enhanced Edition

EDIT: God damn it! Why can't I get the clickable links to work? If you can't make that out through the board code, it's Survivor Squad & Sword of the Stars II: Enhanced Edition
try without the quotes around the URLs
Thanks for the suggestion, but it doesn't look like it worked. All it did was make it so that the code disappeared. Which is kinda strange, because I can still see the code if I click on the edit post button. But to everyone else, it looks like I just posted the names of the games without making an effort to provide links.

Seems to have worked for you though. I can only conclude that CAG 3.0 hates me.

EDIT:

By the way, this is kinda third-hand reporting on my part. But according to this post on SPUF, somebody on Redit claims to know what the bonus games are. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showpost.php?p=34544279&postcount=12450

Looks like he's already been proven right on one of the games. For those of you who are too lazy to click on that link though, the bonuses that were predicted are:

Aquanox 2
Painkiller Overdose
Crusader Kings
Sword of the Stars II

the only other thing i can say is that i matched the case (lowercase) of the url= and /url tags. if that doesn't fix it for you, then you are probably right and CAG 3.0 hates you :p

edit: and it would seem i can't get the emoticons to work...

Aquanox and SotS 2 I was expecting and Painkiller OD, meh. But Crusader Kings? Really?! Surely everyone and his grandmother must have CKII by now, so what's the point of a CK I bonus? I hope that's wrong. It would have been nice to see another Daedelic title in there.

Yo.

I'd be looking forward to trading for CK if the trade thread weren't so cesspitiful.

And he was right, bonuses unlocked,

Painkiller Overdose

Aquanox 2

Crusader Kings Complete

Think I'll wait and try to catch a happy hour, but I'll bit for tier 3 before its over. Actually don't have any of the games from this bundle. Maybe some will be added to the TCG, but with that going out of beta Wednesday, not sure how prices will balance on the market

Hm. Wrong thread I guess, but where did you see that the Trading Card system is leaving beta next week?

hmm, somewhat interested, but I think I will probably sit this one out. Out of curiosity, how much are you selling Happy Hour bundles for fox?
He couldn't say yet... when he names pricing it's after the bundles are bought. Typically it comes out to ~$2.00. IG HH group buy pricing makes picking up IG a no-brainer.

Well I only want 2-3 of the games, so I'm still on the fence. Thanks for the answer though :)

It will also probably be more this time around for everyone with happy hour bundles. They seem to be changing everything with the tiers, I have a sneaking suspicion it will be a bit more for happy hour bundles.

WTF?  It's happy hour, but their price manipulation has reached all time lows (or highs).

BTA price jumped from $5.90ish to $9.12!!!

HH bundles would be $2.10 right now.

Are people still interested?
