Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

I think they really want to get to that nice round 20,000 bundles sold number. Never mind that a good chunk of those were probably happy hour giveaways.

Yeah I'm still seeing 5 1/2 hours on my end. Though they tweeted this 11 hours ago

RT 10 hours to win the last bundle! 10 hours to get 10 games for 5$ on http://www.indiegala.com !

I don't know if that was just badly worded, or if the bundle is gonna close any minute now. It's hard to tell with Indie Gala. I was gonna buy a 4-pack of gifts for their 2nd bundle but it ended before the countdown clock had run out. I was still seeing 4 hours left on my end, but it was over. I contacted them to find out why they ended it early and they didn't know what I was talking about. It was past midnight where they were and the bundle had ended.

Turns out that they had screwed up with the countdown clock. The clock counted down to midnight in each time zone. So if you were in one part of the world, the clock ran out before the bundle ended. While in other parts of the world, there was still time left on the countdown after the Indie Gala 2 ended.

Moral of the story. Buy now if you want the bundle because there's no telling if Indie Gala has gotten that problem fixed. In fact, it's probably a wise move to assume that they're gonna screw something up.

Gala V is now live with over 14 days to go. This time we get tiers and a mix of Steam and DRM Free downloads. Eh...I'm gonna wait.
In for happy hour
Too much drm free for an outright buy but I'll also probably do a happy hour if someone hosts them.

LOL Bad Rats? Are you fucking kidding me? They've got fucking Bad Rats in this bundle? That may very well be the worst game available on steam. If you offer that game in trade on any steam trading forums you're lucky if all they do is laugh at you. Leave it to indie gala to offer Bad Rats in a bundle.

Still, there are a few items of interest in this bundle. Bad Rats and the download only games aside, this looks like a better bundle than the last one. I think I'll go in for a buck so I can take part in the eventual happy hour later on.

Heh, is that why there's like 20 copies of it on Steamgifts at any given time? I always wondered about that.

That was my reaction as well, must be a joke lol. That, or they threw together a bunch of games at the last minute and didn't care if one of them is one of the worst games on Steam lmao. These bundles do come out really fast, so it wouldn't surprise me.. I'm pleased with this bundle for the most part, but really do wish they'd add a Steam key for Ninja Blade.

Ive never heard of Bad Rats, but I saw WRC, SBK and my Ninja Blade and my jaw dropped. I don't know about everybody else, but between the music and the games Indie Gala always seems to come through for me.

Bought it for Ninja Blade. I never heard of Ninja Blade but it's by the creators of demon souls. Sounds good to me :D. Plus I got 11 other games.

ninja blade is really good. its like ninja gaiden but a lil lower budget. pretty cool though and def worth 5.99 as it retails on xbox and steam for like 15-20
Sorry I'm late to the party - what's the "happy hour" folks are talking about?
For the past couple of Indie Gala bundles they've been holding what they term "Happy Hours" for limited time periods. During such happy hours, when you buy a gift copy of the bundle, you get an extra copy. If you bought during the first few days of the bundle though, you get three extra copes when you buy a gift copy. So basically, if you bought early, you can buy a 4-pack for the price of one during the happy hours.

This has given rise to people hosting bundle group buys like people do with steam 4-packs. Each person taking part in the group buy gets a gift link to the full bundle with all the games & bonuses for about 1/4 of what they'd otherwise have to pay to get it.

So far M_F_A_H and myself are planing to host group buys for people. I would guess that Blade might also join in (because he's been kind enough to help out over the past few bundles).

Wow, so I just realized that the Disciples II expansion included with this bundle and with the Disciples II game in the previous bundle gives me the whole Disciples II now.

With that GMG deal, I traded in that free copy of Disciples II and got $5 credit. So I essentially paid $1 for this bundle .

If anyone wants my other games (Im only interested in WRC, SBK and Ninja Blade), just drop me a PM. Im considering holding on to Ironclads and Beat Hazard, but Ill let the rest go for a dollar or so.

Ugh, Bad Rats really does look terrible in every way. Don't want it in my library at all so here's a free key for CAG:

Ordered six hours ago. Showed up in Google Wallets as an Indie Gala 4.0 purchase. Although I received a confirmation, no sign of Steam codes via my link. Used Chrome, IE< and Firefox to make sure it wasn't a browser issue.

I bought one, but wow...Bad Rats. At least the other games are halfway decent and weren't featured in previous bundles. The Ironclads Collection alone makes it worth the average, IMO. A much better bundle than 4, to be sure. :)
Does anyone still have a copy of INDIE GALA IV bundle? Totally missed the happy hours!!!
I do! Looking to swap for older bundles, preferably.

Not sure if I have any, they probably all activated, but I can offer you paypal of course.

I guess it's time to find out just how bad 'Bad Rats' really is... I've had a giftable copy since the Christmas sale, but never used it myself.

The only two games that I want on this list (Beat Hazard and Ninja Blade) don't activate on steam. Oh well, more pocket change for the steam summer sale.

Hmm. Did you miss the whole explanation of how Happy Hour works?

I guess if anyone still wants in on a group buy and hasn't contacted a host yet, I'll do one too.

Just send me a PM and indicate which bundle you want. I'm assuming everyone wants the most expensive one, but if enough people contact me with different wants I'll host tiered bundles and the prices will be lower for each. :)
Bought it at 6 bucks. Beat Hazard ALONE is worth 6 bucks, forget that other stuff I didn't even get to yet.
No DLC though. I didn't get it at groupees, must have been some other indie thingy.

This is exactly why every time a new indie bundle comes out with games that sound interesting to me I go into Steam search and pull up the store page for that item to see if I get the green 'You own this game' bar showing up or not.

With the amount of games I own and bundles I've bought remembering them all by heart can be difficult.
