Yes, yet another indie bundle, but like the Humble Bundle, you can set your own price and donate to charity as well. The games only register on Steam, but that won't be a problem for most here. You get a key for each individual game, so you can gift whatever you do not personally want if you feel like it.

Happy Hour guidelines:

*Happy Hour happens at random times: sometimes as early as 4 days after the bundle going live, but most often during the second week of sales.

Happy Hour! Double Gifts! During Happy Hour time New buyers for every gift purchase get a 2nd bonus gift for free (2x1)! All gifts are doubled! Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT'! *If you have not purchased the current Indie Gala yet, you can buy two for one during happy hour

And if you are an early buyer the deal is EVEN BIGGER!

Yes! If you already bought the current indiegala bundle, you get 2 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 3 x 1 ) *If you have already purchased the bundle, but you did not purchase it in the first week, you can buy three for one

And if you bought it in the first week you get 3 bonus gifts for free for every gift purchased ( 4 x 1 ) *If you already purchased the current bundle and did so in the first week of the current bundle going live, you can buy four for one

Remember to check 'IS IT A GIFT' ! if you want to take advantage of Happy Hour. You have to check this also if, after purchasing a bundle for yourself with your own email address, you want another additional bundle for you. If you don't, transactions amount will sum on your original email account and you can upgrade your purchase, obtaining more bonuses if you previously didn't unlock it, or more galapoints.

REMEMBER: (Gift purchases are not upgradable and don't contribute to upgrade your personal account for unlock new content.)
***For Happy Hour, you MUST use the same e-mail you used when buying your first bundle, and you MUST check the gift option below the payment method. You have to buy again during Happy Hour to receive gift copies.

CAG Group Buy Hosting FAQ

Q: I see all of these CAGs hosting group buys for people. What's that all about?
A: It's a way for CAGs to help each other get the best deal. One person will buy the bundle during the first week, then they will buy four gift copies at the highest tier during Happy Hour. This person is referred to as the host. They then try to sell these to participants for a fraction of the price of buying the "beat the average" bundle individually, plus some extra to distribute the cost of the initial bundle purchase in the first week. The host gains money back, and the participants get the full bundle for a fourth of the cost. Everyone wins.

Q: How do I host one?
A: To host a CAG group buy, you must first purchase the Indie Gala full BTA (beat the average) bundle in the first week (this has been changed since the previous bundles). This will allow you to purchase four additional bundles for the price of one during a Happy Hour, as stated in the Happy Hour post above. Now, it does matter how much you initially spend, as you must purchase the full bundle in order to purchase full bundle four-packs during Happy Hour. Then, once Happy Hour starts, you buy a gift copy for the current "beat the average" price, which will be listed on the Indie Gala page. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK "IS IT A GIFT" TO GET FOUR GIFT COPIES.

Q: It's asking me for multiple e-mail addresses. What do I do?
A: Just skip that part. The links to the gifts will be added to your account page (which is another reason why you must always use the same e-mail address when ordering from Indie Gala). Most hosts will send out the gift URLs to their participants in a PM.

Q: Is it hard to do?
A: No, it's very quick and easy. Just keep track of which gift URLs you have sent to which people, and you will be fine.

I would like to get one if possible.

Edit: Working on one now, never mind, thanks!

Is it bad that I just spent $30 (okay $27 after using some Discover points) for a wireless 360 wheel to use on a game I paid 22 cents for?

I want to be Rig'in N Roll'in properly dammit!

STOP GIVING ME IDEAS!

I actually enjoy rig n roll, but am finishing Extreme Truckers right now.

Also, thank you for posting about the happy hour. I was sure to purchase this wonderful bundle of awesome games and look forward to playing it. ;)

lol

It's seriously the game that I'm most interested in playing from this bundle. I've got a few items in my backlog that I want to play first but after they're out of the way I'm gonna set up my Rig & Ima gonna Roll.

No fancy wheel for me though. :(
Can I send one of my happy hour gift bundles to a friend living overseas? Steam keys are region free, correct?
Yes. Gala keys are region free.

Is there anyway through Indie Gala site to send one gift via email so that individual will only have the keys for one of the gifts (and any unlocks to come afterwards)?
*what are gala points?

If you are buying a happy hour gift bundle you have to leave the email field blank in the gift thing. Then on your profile page it will list all your gift bundles. Then you will have to click on each numbered bundle and copy and paste the URL and email it individually.

At least that's the only way I know how to do it.

I'm afraid that you are not ready for such knowledge my son. It would surely destroy you.

Actually, nobody knows. They've been teasing it since early February.

I paid the $1 first day, waited impatiently for happy hour, and when it finally arrived I just couldn't do it ... I was so close, I just felt like I had to do it even though I have absolutely no interest in any of the games. I know I failed you guys ... I am not worthy.

Has anyone ever had problems where some of the Steam keys were "invalid" (as opposed to already activated)? If so, was there a solution to getting them to work?

I realized I never activated the first bundle I purchased way back in November of 2011 and now half of the keys don't work.

Have you been entering a bunch of keys one after the other? If so, I'd wait an hour or two and retry the keys. Sometimes steam kinda seizes up if you enter a lot of keys. I guess it's probably to stop people from using some sort of bot to randomly try combinations of keys.

Ah that's quite possibly it. I was loading in a bunch of these bundle keys I had been neglecting and I didn't want anyone else to snag (somehow) because of my laziness.

Sometimes when I copy and paste the key, I accidentally grab an extra space at the beginning or end and it won't accept it.

Yeah, I had problems with IG keys once. Emailed support, they told me to just wait an hour. I initially was like WTF, but I did wait an hour, closed steam, opened it, and lo and behold they worked :)

Waiting some time then trying again did the trick. Though I did discover one game from one of the Group Buys I bought here was already redeemed. I don't think the seller did it because all of the other games were untouched and this wasn't a hot title in the bundle or anything. Probably just some kind of error by the Gala people. Be sure to activate those codes ASAP from Group Buys!

Speaking the Gala people... are they not Americans? The CS email I received was definitely from someone where English was not their first language based off some odd word choices.

It wasn't me, but as a rule, I don't touch any of the links I'm giving away as part of the group buy. I haven't even redeemed any of the links from the first bundle I bought (my personal one, even though it's kept separate from the gift links), makes sure everything is legit, but that's not saying that a code could be defective. it happens, but if that happened with one of my bundles, I would give them the game from my own bundle to make good on the sale.

I'm pretty sure they're Italians. It was good of them to reply to you in between the pasta eating and koopa stomping that consumes most of their 1-ups. ;)

So the average has gone up to $7.29, but the 20 pack still shows as $25.88, does that mean the pack prices are set? why would they do that, why not have the pack price raise at the same percentage? it kills the need to buy early to get the better price as the average raises over time, but if the lock the package price, all anyone has to do is wait for the 20 pack buyers to buy up during happy hour, and noone has to worry about paying more than $1.30/bundle. What am I missing?

I asked Indie Gala about it, but they said without a receipt and XYZ there is nothing they can do for me.

TBH that makes for a real shitty "gifting" system. On one hand I can understand that the original buyer can give out the steam codes as "gifts" however he pleases - that might mean the whole bundle or just one game. But on the other hand, I think the idea of this all is to give the whole bundle to someone as a gift. But apparently if there is one defective code in your gift bundle, you're SOL. The Gala folks claimed a 0.5% error rate with codes in the very first bundle and claimed there were absolutely no errors with codes in any subsequent bundle, but .

You couldn't go to the person who gifted it to you and ask them to contact IG? They have to be accountable to someone I would think.

So, the happy hour thing seems broken right now, right? The only way to get the bonus for buying previously would be to buy from your profile link? And that page, I can't make ANY email address forms appear, and on the main page, even if I pretend to want to pay $150, I can't get more than one to pop up. Tried chrome, safari, and firefox, all the same behavior. Clicking the paypal link says 'a bundle will be sent to '

Anyone already ventured through? Is this the standard behavior and then later all your links are visible? I don't want to buy just one bundle with the money that's supposed to be getting 4.

I didn't log in or anything to buy the 20 pack, just used the same email. When they emailed the link for the 20 pack, the original bundle I had bought was also there, seperate from the 20 pack. I know I wasn't logged in or anyhting, because this was from a completeley new PC. Just make sure it's the same email you used before, and it will be credited to the same "account", which really means the url they send you, anything bought on that same email updates on that page.

Alright then, thanks. I imagined it might all be working and just a little unclear, but it seemed just as likely that I could end up in the situation of 'well why'd you click okay if it didn't look right?'
Looks like the indie gala store is finally up. 1000 points = $1. Finally have a use for my 12500 points! Not really, because you can only use a certain amounts of points per item. Only enough for like a 20% discount. What a ripoff

Seem that it hints the next bundle. I know I've purchased every single gala bundle and all the games I don't own are all Meridian4 published.

Just so everyone knows, this user's Steam ID is luigii and we were supposed to do a trade. I gave him a gift bundle link and he then proceeded to delete me from his friends' list. Do not trade with this person as he is a scammer. Also, he is banned from doing trades on Steam. I blame myself for this mistake and wanted to give everyone else a heads up.

Sorry that happened, and that people like him exist. Thanks for making it public.

Stuff like this happens, you make the mistake once and never again. I gave a guy a CD-key for Prey and same thing happened...won't happen again though
