From what I have read, the "Evil Billy" persona was embellished by the editing process. It plays great as a movie, but I believe that he did talk with Steve multiple times during filming and the director chose to not show that in the video. Also, if you check Twin Galaxies here http://www.twingalaxies.com/index.aspx?c=22&pi=2&gi=3852&vi=22 you can see that Billy beat Steve on 6/23/07(before the theatrical release, but after the Slamdance festival where it premiered).

It was a great movie, I hope to see more classic arcade docs in the future.
 
i just watched this this morning..Billy Mitchell is a douche bag!! he reminds me of the name calling assholes in halo...

also..he beat steve's score but it was via a live feed...i call bullshit just like the magically jumping/changing scores on the video tape
