Martin Manley committed suicide yesterday. Before doing it, he created a website detailing his life and ultimately his decisions to end it. Even though I live in Kansas City also, I had never heard of the man. But thanks to reddit and a local news station, this has been verified.

Though, the gold he left is supposedly a hoax from the police department

I'm sure people will have their thoughts on it, but I just wanted to post it as it's an intriguing and well written read. Figured some might want to check it out also.

I heard of this today. The dude was well-known for a few things including his contribution to NBA statistics which regard player efficiency.

I read some of the suicide stuff and it's pretty scary what was going through this bols head.

I don't live too far away from Overland Park and was thinking about going over there to search for treasure, but I don't feel like dealing with the hassle of cops today, so maybe later in the week.
