The Matty Fund for Epilepsy Awareness- raising money for a good cause

Here at the College of Business at the University of Rhode Island we are teamed up with the Matty Fund. "The Matty Fund provides family resources, raises epilepsy awareness, promotes patient safety and improves the quality of life for children and families living with epilepsy." " Epilepsy is the name given to seizures that happen more than once in an otherwise healthy youngster, or when the child has a physical condition that causes seizures from time to time."

Group were assigned to us students where we set goals to raise money for a family affected by epilepsy seeking help from the Matty Fund. My group is sponsoring a little girl named Emily Vecchio. Emily just finished her first year at the Matty Camp and is loving her experiences despite her physical condition.
