I bought the first season for liek $1.50 from a GoHastings sale, it is unbelievably bad, and I really like British shows.

I loved Extras, but I just couldn't get into this. The first season was alright, but the second season and specials were dull.

I thought I was mostly alone in my dislike for this show.  I too like a lot of british shows (IT Crowd, black books, peep show, extras and a few others I cannot think of at the moment), and I wanted to like the UK version, but I just find it boring.  I did laugh at one joke in about the 3rd or 4th episode, so I may continue to give it another shot, but this is one of those highly praised shows that I just cannot seem to get into.
