Alright I decided to make this thread for people that are in the CAG steam group or on steam in General.

The idea of this thread is to list the games that you are playing in multiplayer on steam and other info to help find friends and possibly organize some events on the CAG group.

I'll start it off:

I'm kind of a Corecasual if you will, I've recently made the switch from Xbox360 to back to PC gaming. I just want to have a good time and I definitely need to work on my skills.

4. Microphone or Keyboard:

Right now I'm using a microphone. I don't mind playing with people that only have keyboards but it is more fun being able to talk while you play IMO. (Don't know how you PC gamers can type while you're playing games = talent)

5. Location (for better connections, pings etc):
I'm on the Westside of the States.

6. Times I'm usually playing:

I'm sort of all over the place usually I'm playing sometime in between 9pm-3am PST.

But I do also go on during the day from time to time.

My real life comes first so I've been told that makes me a casual gamer.
I consider myself to be hard core.

I have a headset.

I play all games by KB and/or gamepad...No mouse...yes I know that is very weird.

5. Location (for better connections, pings etc):
East Coast Servers. It's very rare I will play outside of an east coast server.

6. Times I'm usually playing:

Wednesday 10:30 PM EST to 12:30 AM EST
Sunday 10:30 PM EST to 12:30 AM EST

My PC's slowly fading away and prone to crashing after mid-long sessions in anything (I actually got a BSOD while playing minesweeper and watching some youtube. sigh.).

I'm as serious as the game warrants. If I'm pubbing in TF2 I don't care much but if I'm playing some intense 6v6 stuff, I can be very intense. Not ragey, just intense :p

I guess Corecasual. Not entirely sure what that means, but oh well. I can play games hardcore (wanting to win), but for the most part I am just looking to have fun (of course winning and having fun = even more fun... sometimes). Definite fan of relaxed gaming. Also mixing time between PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

4. Microphone or Keyboard:

More of a typer than a talker. I have a microphone and if there are others talking I might join in. But I would probably type first.

Middle West of the United States. Ok... Illinois (so when you think about it is the eastern part of the midwest....).

6. Times I'm usually playing:

9 AM (Central Time) to 1 or 2 AM. When school starts it will be greatly reduced

Can't decide between Starcraft or DBZ on this on so I am combining them.

Usually I'm playing sometime in between 6pm-10pm PST. Time differs on the weekends but I did get the sick day medal on Quake Live (6 hours gameplay in one day) so you never know.

3. Hardcore or Casual Gamer:
Casual in the sense that I don't strive to be the ultimate FPS player. I really only find these games fun when playing with friends to just have a good time, and don't consider myself very skilled. I'd consider myself more hardcore for RPGs or MMO's, but we aren't talking about that here. ;)

4. Microphone or Keyboard:

I have a headset, so no lame backround noises or feedback

5. Location (for better connections, pings etc):
Eastern US.

6. Times I'm usually playing:

Depends when I want to do my college work. Weekdays from 10-11:30 pm are probably ok, most anytime on the weekend is probably fine too. This will change when the MLB season starts.

7. Anything else you'd like to add?

Again, I'd like to stress that I really don't care about being the best FPS player ever. I'm not very good at them since I don't play them much. If you are the type of person that is uber awesome and will destroy me non stop, or if you are the type that gets pissed with 'sub-par' players on their team, then you probably don't want to game with me. I don't really take it seriously, but I would like to game with folk that are similar skill level to me, as getting owned time and time again isn't very fun.

3. Hardcore or Casual Gamer:
Hardcore. I play MW2 on the reg for hours a day with my clannies. I constantly strive to be the top player, as do they. Sometimes though we just mess around with other people in-game when we get bored.

4. Microphone or Keyboard:

Microphone. Been using a mic for years. I cant stand typing in game. My friends and I have a Vent set up so we don't have to use terrible in-game voice either since the quality is usually garbage.

5. Location (for better connections, pings etc):
Wisconsin. I'm right on the Illinois border, so I usually have excellent pings to stuff in Chicago, however, I ping well to just about everywhere.

6. Times I'm usually playing:

I'll play my SP games usually from like 1PM-4PM, then I'll start playing MW2 once some friends get on. We usually will play to around 11PM or 12 AM on weekdays, and until around 2AM on weekends. Being an unemployed student gives me a bunch of time to play games.
