Nobody home here. The trolls and the juvenile drama chased me away.

I thought CAG was a supportive community, but I was wrong, apparently.

You're free to let someone else man the thread now; I understand J7 has a lot of free time on his hands and has been trying to circumvent the thread from me for a few months.

I just don't have the patience for the children anymore.

It has been for awhile. I don't really think it's so much a clearance as a neverending sale, as the games are all still regular price otherwise (i think). The 3-4 TRU's I've been to have had them in a small bin beside the DS aisle, with a sign saying 3 for $10 all GBA games.

Most of them are crappy movie games, ie Enchanted, Arthur and the Invisibles, Meet the Robinsons, etc. or Petz/Imagine/Poker, etc. games. The only semi-notable one I've seen is Sonic The Hedgehog Genesis, though even that is pretty crappy since I think the ratio is off on screen size. I did see a NMBC Oogie's Revenge in there once, but that may have been a straggler from awhile ago.

Well if other areas are like mine, TRUs have less than 3 different :gba: titles left in the store? And of those :gba: games left, 90% of them are either 'Enchanted' or some poker game?

Its 3 for $10, otherwise they're $5 each.
 
i picked up the following yesterday

Fire Emblem Wii - $9.98
Battalion Wars 2 Wii - $9.98
Advance wars dor - $9.98 (x2 since its only $15 for both)

the $5 off promotion, is that for memorial day only or throughout the week?
 
I picked up late last year from them Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire for PS3 for $5 from one of the store in Louisville, KY. I remember them also having Elite Beat Agents for the DS for $5 as well as Parrapa the Rapper for PSP for $5. I dunno if you wanted to add those to this list or not. But it sounds tempting once I get paid again to take the drive out there and see what they have again.
 
Got the last copy of stoked at the Pineville, NC TRU and got the Best Buy around the corner to price match it for two copies. Will be sending to my brother and cousin.
 
picked up 2x golden compass Ds for 4.99 (needed the cases)


is Stoked 5.00 or is that after the 5.00 off price (meaning it was 10)

they got a little card that shows 9.98 here (should of price scanned it --- maybe tomorrow0)))

Nope Stoked is now $5.00 when scanned into the system. My store had a card saying it was $9.98 but became $5.00 at the register.

Hey, $5 for really any new 360 game is a great price. I'm willing to give it a shot and see how it is.

I honestly did not know of a promotion. I saw Stoked for $9.98 (tags are always wrong) and decided on whim to pick up the second game because it was one of two copies left.

Are you sure about PS3 Buzz? It didn't even get a drop to $20 which is not unheard of, but still surprising.

Is this your YMMV? Cause my TRU never seems to have clearance items, happened with the DS game clearance a few months ago. Everyone on CAG posting great deals they found, I went to my local TRU and everything on the shelves were regular price.
 
has anyone seen the orange box in stock lately? I've been to like 5 different TRUs in the so cal area and no luck. Picked up Mass Effect for $5 though. Thanks OP! And thanks on the singstar news!

This is YMMV, I just got back from my local TRU and had the cashier scan Singstar Vol. 1, Vol.2 and Buzz Quiz PS3 they all were price at $59.99. Even asked her if they had a clearance sale, she replied "not that I am aware of" then pointed me to some PS3 charge stations that were marked down $19.98 from $29.98. Good luck to any CAG whose TRU is partaking in this sale.

Prices won't be in effect until 6/1. You know you can buy now and price adjust later, right?

I'm confused about this and maybe an employee can answer this. Prim has said earlier that they get a list of the games that they have in inventory that are to be clearanced. He usually gets those lists early so I'm wondering, if I go buy the last of an item today, will it still get adjusted tomorrow considering there will be 0 in inventory?

My experience has been yes. A few months ago I got a couple games price adjusted that were bought at a different TRU and not in stock at the price-adjusting TRU. If for some reason it does not work, do it as a return and rebuy.

Cool, I think I'm still going to wait because what I want would be over $100 today. I have a TRU near me that no one goes to.
