By the way, my wife isn't buying a lot of $60 dresses, just once in awhile. And sometimes the $60 dress might have been on sale from $120.
I thought about buying Batman AA @ BB and TRUS...$30 maybe I might get it, but I have a lot of backlog and it keeps growing.
By the way, I read the reviews for Golden Compass and I wouldn't buy it at $1.
Again, not to brag, but here some of my backlog so that you might understand my reason for not getting Batman AA.
Grand Theft Auto IV, Street Fighter IV, Fallout 3, Burnout Paradise, Resistance 2 CE, Resident Evil 5, Red Faction: Guerrilla, Guitar Hero World Tour, Prince of Persia, Saints Row 2, MotorStorm, Condemned 2, Assassin's Creed, Kung Fu Panda, Lego Batman, Oblivion GOTY, Lost Planet, etc. I don't like racer games too much so they are at the bottom of my list.
I'm Currently playing Valkyria Chronicles. Also I only play about 2 hours a day after everyone goes to sleep.
Please don't judge my and my family's lifestyle.

Good for you, man. I love how whenever someone finds out you make (or think you make) good money, apparently you have to splurge on everything and not care about getting good value or deals and should just throw money around. That's exactly why so many people in this world end up broke and poor even though they had or make a decent amount of money. Just look at some of the huge lottery winners.
I probably don't make what you make but I know where you're coming from. I'd rather spend money on other things that some of you would probably flip out on. A $60 dress is nothing compared to the parts I buy for my cars. And yet, the same people would bug out about that. But you know what? Buying games is as much of a waste (if not more) to those who aren't interested.
Why should I spend an extra $30+ on a game when it would just end up in the couple-foot high backlog in my closet? By the time some of us get to our games, they'd already be in the clearance bins or off the shelves if we bought them new at the release date. That difference in cost could've been spent on something else had we waited. I'd rather put that money towards another tank of gas, which I'd use with more gratification than a game. But I do enjoy games so I still spend on them. I just don't see the value in spending a lot of money on them when there are so many other things I enjoy and many other more practical uses for it.
But anyway, I think I'm getting even more off topic than these last few posts. I'm not even sure what they were originally about but I just caught this last post. :lol: The bottom line is, you don't have to be a broke ass to be a cheap ass.
