You have to have porn on the ipod to show to your hispanic coworkers. Jim will back me up on this.
I didn't know you knew my roommate. Yes, his name is Jim, and yes, he probably would back you up on that.

Not trying to pull a darthpuma, but do you guys recommend any headphones that are quality but don't cost as much as beats?

I sort of half jokingly put my late 2009 MacBook on Craigslist for 600.00 and already have 4 people interested (and 2 scammers!).

Maybe I should have put it up for more. Super tempted to sell it and buy a new Air. Think my gf might kill me though.

The last two weeks were hell between the "20 on 22" push at work, and all the shit to do to get my house ready - It's time for Frankie to relax.

The CEO is out all next week at work, so when the cat's away, the mice will play. I also moved to a more private cubicle where websurfing is easier, but it's slightly more crowded.

Because everybody else also has the same idea.

Last night sucked. They had me in the fitting room which is something I've never done before. Going in, I was afraid of somehow screwing up using the phone, but that was the least of my worries. Our store just opened a couple days ago and we were packed. Actually, that feels like an understatement. While the work wasn't exactly hard, we were swamped, so the reshop never got put away until after we closed and people were coming out of the fitting room left and right not wanting the stuff they were picking out. For most of the night, there was a pretty big pile of clothes I had to sort through. I felt like I could have exploded any minute. Heck, it was so crazy, around midnight (we close at 10), we still had 3 carts of reshop left, but said fuck it and we clocked out for the night. But to think I was there for 10 hours, and tonight I work 8 hours until we close. I think my shift today will put me right around 40 hours, so I'm hoping they enforce their no overtime policy and I can leave closer to 10 tonight and not be stuck there all fucking night again.

And to think I close 3 of the next 4 nights too. And 3 of the next 4 days are 8 hour shits. Wonderful.

Meh. I admit. Work sucks. I only work because I haven't won the lottery. If only I could...

Also, when your work doesn't allow overtime, it makes it hard to get excited about working more hours knowing you'll never get to that extra pay rate.

It's why I don't have ambition to ever get into management. If you only worked 40 hours it's not a bad check. Problem is, you never only work 40 hours.

I got a letter in the mail for a voluntary study to report the delivery of mail sent to my home. It mentions involvement from IBM and a link to the following: http://www.reportez.com. The letter has a USPS banner at the top and goes on to say I can get rewarded for doing this. Does anyone know if this is a scam or legit??
Camped out in the Portland Square drinking $2 beers to benefit the Children's Cancer Association waiting for Top Gun to start. It's an odd mix of hipsters and homeless people, though it's rather difficult to tell the difference.
The homeless ones have dogs and agressively ask for me.
I so stay way from Portland Town Square. "It's the city's Living Room!"

I just noticed Amazon has rental specials for $1.99. Pretty nice. I'm watching Battle Los Angeles right now via my 360. The picture quality is really good.

You can rent from amazon and watch on the 360?
You can rent from amazon and watch on the 360?
Yeah if you have windows media player 11 on your pc and turn on sharing you can watch video files on your 360 streamed from your computer. And if you rent from Amazon you have a choice to dl the movie. So when the movie is finished downloading to your pc (took about 30 minutes), your 360 will find the video in the video shared folder and voila! I'm definitely gonna do this more often. They have a few new releases for $1.99 right now. Battle Los Angeles, I Am Number Four, The Rite, Red Riding Hood.

Battle Los Angeles is incredibly bad and contains just about every military action movie cliche known to man. The gung ho / shellshocked soldier, the ridiculously jumpy and nervous private, the know it all Lieutenant who can't make a decision in the field, and the line "I'm not gonna leave you behind!" are just a few of the gems.

When I was a kid, I went to my mothers room, and found her naked. I walked towards her, and put my fingers.. In her purse. I took all of her weeks pay, and basically fuked her over.

That's how I got the name.. "Motherfuker Jones"

This morning the lab tech at work told a patient over the phone that he could have his glasses in 1 hour if he came in by 3pm today. Fast forward to lunch time, my manager tells me that I can leave early since our afternoon cancelled out. Our lab tech then throws a fit because he wasn't offered to go home early and he has seniority - missing the point that we have only 1 lab tech but 3 opticians scheduled at any given moment. My manager being afraid of confrontation tells him fine, he can go. He walks out the door at 2:30. At 2:45 I'm getting ready to walk out the door and that patient the lab tech spoke to on the phone this morning walks in saying "The lab tech told me if I get here by 3 my glasses will be done in an hour". My manager starts telling him the lab tech went home early and the patient throws a FIT, knocking over magazine racks, throwing glitter, the whole nine. I think about it for like 30 seconds and volunteer to make his glasses. I go in to the lab and the douche had hard powered down all of his equipment instead of putting it to sleep, like he's supposed to. At that point I swore a blue streak then remembered I could call one of my friends that work in one of the other labs in the area. So I get on the phone and he walks me through rebooting and calibrating all of the equipment. I get the glasses made, they're on power, on axis and within tolerance for all of the other measurements. This patient is thanking me profusely for coming back in and making his glasses so I hand him the corporate feedback number and say "Make sure you tell them about how the lab tech promised your glasses for you then left early."

Merry fucking Christmas in July to me. The guy's a douche and deserves to get reamed out. If not for this, than for all the other BS he pulls. Oh yeah, it was also the first time I've made a pair of glasses.

Dude was telling me all about it the other night when he was drunk like it was the best thing next to nutella and toast. A must own for blu-ray. :\

Anyone want to give me their Team Fortress 2 items?

I can't wait to share a romantic diet Faygo with that special clown paint covered someone.

Yet another night where we put away reshop for two hours and don't leave until 12:30. And still had a shit load to put away. Hopefully tomorrow we're not stuck here until midnight, but being grand opening...fucking hell...

Congratulations CoD Black Ops on being one of the worst games I've played this generation. Talk abut a shitty cash in. I'm so glad I didn't buy it and my friend let me borrow it because I'm quitting after about an hour into it.

Anyone wanna give Fear 3 (

That last post up there made it sound like the 2 hours a day he had to spare he wanted to use for Terraria, not reliving his torture as a testers for F.E.A.R 3.

Finished watching Army of Darkness. Very disappointed. Barely laughed at all. Same goes with the first Evil Dead. Evil Dead Part 2, however, was pretty good.
Why would you expect to laugh at the first Evil Dead? It's a straight up horror movie played for gore/scares.
Hype. I kept hearing how the series was a cult classic and funny. The only good thing about the first movie was the gore.

Evil Dead 2 was good, but Machete is much better.

Speaking of cult films, I went and saw Rocky Horror Picture Show a month or two ago. It was one of those where the film started at midnight, there were "actors" who dressed up and acted out scenes while the movie was playing. They shouted at the movie the whole time and people had prop bags to play along with the film.

Am I the only one who just doesn't really get it? I mean, I get that it's all cute and fun and funny, but is this the only reason this film is relevant? Because of these weird midnight showings where the audience participates? I love Tim Curry but that movie was weird as fuck and I just didn't really get it.
