Speculation is that CC may be getting in more games from their warehouses, so don't give up. I personally know of 2 CC's that have the games pulled until the sale officially starts, so once again...don't give up! And ladies and gentlemen, don't forget to tip your listkeeper! *cough*Ikaruga*cough*

Since this topic is still active the South Blvd. location in Charlotte, NC got a few new games in.

Tetris Worlds (GCN) - five copies
Project Eden (PS2) - five copies
NBA Courtside 2002 - one copy
Madden 02 (GCN) - one copy
Alter Echo (PS2) - two copies
Eternal Ring (PS2) - two copies
some other assorted PS1 games (mostly sports)

Only Tetris Worlds was there one week ago. Nothing too exciting, but anyone in the area might want to know about it.
 
I love you guys, thanks so much for defending me, so whats the deal with the CCs, are you guys still getting deals, because I went too my CC and the bins are still gone
 
I know that when I went to one, they told me that they had sold out of everything, even crappy old sports titles and would not recieve anything new or shipments. I went to another one that not that many people go to (areawise), and found that they still had their bins out. Inside they had a bunch of old sports titles still left, some Project Edens (which had not been there the previous week), some Tetris Wolrds, and a bunch of old PS1 games (trust me nothing good). I did find though a Bombastic, which was pretty good. They also said they might get some small shipments here and there so I may still come to them for another couple weeks but not as often. I'm not expecting anything good to come like your Disgaea find, so oh well, but I'm still hoping.

Just got back to CC, everything is gone, they are officially sold out of all titles, I did get 10 games from the sale, so I'm not complaining.
 
for the record I mentioned that certain CC's would get restocked, I went to one and low and behold an employie was placing a handful of disgaeas into the $5 bin. I managed to snag one :) so for the count that's 2 places that have restocked Disgaea. BTW this was back when the sale had "officially" began.

you sure it was Bloody Roar 4? cause at my CC they had copies of Bloody Roar 3 for 19.99. I doubt Bloody Roar 4 is 19.99.
 
They still have a few $5 games leftover at the CC I go to. Aquaman, Zoocube, and some redneck Gameboy Color games are marked $4.99 as well as Bombastic. I seen others that weren't marked but I think I'll pick them up one day since they aren't going anywhere.
 
i stand corrected, today I was near my CC so I decided to go in and I saw the bins were back out, due too this I assumed maybe the sale was back on, I looked high and low finding no games that were on the list (I want bombtastic), eventually I found star wars racer revenge, which was priced at 19.99 but rang up as 4.99, I dunno what happened before at my CC and frankly dont care all I care about now is that the sale is back on
 
I went to my CC today and they still had the bins out, but it was a very limited selection. They had for GBA summglers's run, Johnny MOsley Mad TRix, and other stuff like that. Alos for five dollars was Alter Echo. No Bombastics. They did though have a ton of $10 games like Eternal darkeness, Hunter: (don't remember what the rest of the title was, but it was for PS2), Auto Modelista.
 
The $5 bins have been removed from most of the CC's in my area. Very few left on the shelves as well, although I did find a copy of Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure (GC) for $5.
 
i hope this sale goes on till summers end, I know i will be a CC once more before summer ends, and I am dying too get at least one or two more 5 dollar games

Yaeh, I got that too. the voice acting is some of the worst I have ever seen. It's all off when they talk or when you hear the voices ending, the game's characters continue to move their mouths. To me it feels, for some reason, like a cross-breed of Tekken and Virtua Fighter 4.

Oh and I believe that today will be my last day going to check on CC. Though, it has been a great ride for the past few weeks not knowing what you'll get, today there was nearly nothing. I did not go to my usual CC, but to when that's way farther from me and they still had there $5 bins out, so I was like cool they might have something but I was sadly mistaken. All they had were a lot of JamPacks, one UFC Tapout PS2, 1 Alter Echo for PS2 (which I decided I might as well pick up), and the last Bombastic which I picked up since I was trying find one since I skipped out on it when I saw it. They also had their $10 bin of Hunter: something or other (I believe it was Redemption), Auto Modellista for PS2, Rogue Ops, and some Goblin Commanders PS2, which I finally decided to pick one up.
 
are those games you stated goblin commander, rogue ops, alter echo, ufc tapout, and auto modellista 5 bucks, because ive seen them at my CC and wasnt sure
 
A few CC stores in Chicago (Niles, on Touhy Ave and the one near Harlem/Cermack) had a ton of what I guess are returns turn up this week.
Mostly junk but a few good finds (Pro Race Driver, Lotus Challenge, NHL Blitz Pro and Haunted Mansion). Plus, most of the junk isn't on the EB exclusion list so I got enough trade-ins for 5 copies of Madden at half-price.

The CC near Old Orchard also got a ton of returned $5 games but restickered them all as "value games" for 19.99 each.

I agree... Is it individual employees doing this or corporate policy?

One thing I wonder is if you substitute games with the value pricing?
I mean.. could one buy the cool game that's now a $19.99 "value game" and then return some crap $4.99 title in it's place?

Since the chances of them having another copy of the clearance title are nil, they'd have to give you the $19.99 in store credit, I believe.

Of course this won't work if the value game barcode isn't generic and they can track which game you really bought.

Also, there's the ethics thing but I figure it's only skirting the edge since the game should have been $4.99 in the first place.

Auto Modellista, Rogue ops, and Goblin Commander were all $10. UFC Tapout and Alter Echo were $5. Sorry if there was any confusion.
 
Gotta keep scanning the shelves. I picked up Frequency (PS2) at the Rochester (Greece Ridge Center) after spotting it sitting on the shelf priced $29.99.

Also, for those hunting Bombastic (PS2), I found a couple sitting on the shelf at the Amherst CC. Since I had already picked a copy up for myself I left them behind. They also had a copy of XGRA (Xbox) priced at $29.99.

that's the CC I normally check out, too badI already picked up bombastic back when ebgames had it for $10. I don't mind, it's a hreally fun game.
