That would be me lol I am one of those people that on long trips and car rides and such run my camera a lot in the hopes of catching someone doing something stupid. It's yet to happen though.

Is it wrong to wish the people in that last video were killed? meh..

It's apparently rumored that you are more likely to be hit by lightning after you have already been hit. There have been a few people down here hit multiple times. Then again maybe they are just dumbasses.

I'm really suprised more people aren't killed considering the dumb crap people do in lightning storms.
 
I remember this one guy who got struck sixty-six times. In the head. He had this white stripe in his hair. Looked like a skunk. And there was also this bear that had no hair on his ass.

Same here. We got caught in a wicked storm and just pulled over because we couldn't see the road.

Suddenly lightning struck the road about 10 feet in front of us. My wife and I looked at each other like "Holy shit!" -- then lightning struck the road right beside us.

Then we decided to get the hell out of there and drive out of the storm.
 
Last week I was helping tow a car down to a local garage... Hillbilly style behind an F150 with a tow rope...

Literally 25 feet in front of us, as we pulled into the garage's parking lot, their telephone pole got hit by lightning.. it was a startling moment to say the least... if we had been outside pushing the car I am not sure what would have happened. The ground was covered in water (flood like) due to the extreme downpour that came on.

It happened to me near a gas station less than 1/4 mile from my home. That was the loudest thing I heard in my life and I could feel the electricity. I stay inside whenever I hear a storm now and I wait at least 20 minutes after I hear a thunderclap. I don't drive in that shit anymore. A lot of people don't take it as seriously as they should.
 
I'm outside eating pie straight out of the tin with a fork on my roof sitting right next to the TV antenna during lightning storms.
