Can you give us more details if you are looking for exclusives, or if you already have certain games on other consoles... etc.

3. Uncharted (Uncharted 2 in 2 hours...)

Shooters are for children, they belong on PC unless they support M/KB like UT3 does. Warhawk being one of the worst games I've touched in years and gave it to a friend after an hour or two. I'm way behind though, too many games and too little time. Have yet to try MGS, GTA, Infamous, or other games that would likely go on this list. But from what I've played so far I'd vote in no order:

Burnout Paradise
Uncharted
LBP
R&C ToD
Rock Band 2
Dead Space

I know that's 6 but it covers the main categories.
 
My 5 favorite PS3 games so far (in no particular order):

MGS4
Uncharted (and I'm sure Uncharted 2 will join/surpass it)
LittleBigPlanet
inFamous
Killzone 2

I'm getting Uncharted 2, Heavenly Sword, infamous and Valkyria Chronicles soon so this list after number 2 will probably change soon.

Fallout 3 (played the 360 version but the PS3 version is no doubt equal)
Uncharted 1 (assuming Uncharted 2 will trump this in every way)​

I hope to get inFAMOUS eventually, and Demon's Souls was ordered last night. If they both live up to their hype, that should be my top 5 list for a little while.

ok guys thanks for your input picked up infamous uncharted 2 and batman today with the toys r us buy 2 get 1 free sale. now the question is, what are 3 must have games coming out from now until the end of the year that should be on my list?
 
im into pretty much every kind of game. shooters, sports u name it if its good i wanna get my hands on it.i have little big planet and pretty much all of the games everyone has mentioned so far, after picking up 3 today so now its just to decide which games to get that arent already out yet.

I was gonna be a smartass and list 5 shittacular games for the PS3, but I can only think of one offhand that people mention as being 'crap': XBlades

Of course, that game is one that I traded 5 guides for recently, since I wanted to try it but every time it went clearance at some store every copy was snapped up before I could get one.

As for my top 5:

Red Faction: Guerrilla
Batman: Arkham Asylum
Mercenaries 2(nothing says fun like imploding a building with some well placed C4 charges)
