I'm trying to edit my sale topic, and after losing work, having to redo things I've already done, I finally got things generally under control, plain with nearly no formatting (and ready to be formatted).
When I try to save what I've done so far, it won't let me, and it tells me that I'm over the character limit of 100,000 characters. It tells me I've used 2,294,847!
That's obviously wrong, because when I check the character count in Word, it's only around 10,000 characters. I thought maybe the formatting would be hiding more characters in the coding, but that's not the case, since I only have a few things colored and maybe three links.
So what's the deal? Is this a site issue? How can I get this fixed?
EDIT: I just removed ALL of the formatting and it is still telling me that I've used over two million characters. This is really frustrating now...
EDIT2: AND the editor refuses to switch modes (code/rich text).
EDIT3: AND I just tried creating a new topic and the exact same problem occurs. Over "two million" characters. Can I please get some help here?
