Is the stock drive slow? Just wondering if the speed difference is that drastic. I would think just the size upgrade makes it a solid deal. I don't have a PS4, so I'm just curious.Sorry to thread jack but this is not a great deal. 5400rpm is what the PS4 already has. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0097LG9U8/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER is $30 more for 1TB and 7200RPM. Just looking out and yes I have this for the PS4.
It's normal its just a 5400 rpm while some ppl are putting ssd drive in their machines now, theres also a mix of both which is a hybrid drive..theirs a comparison vid on youtube generally if you're playing a game once and not reloading the same map over and over again liek in a online FPS shooter game...the drives all perform the same..where as if you are just reloading the same map over and over again then it does make a drastic difference and can load the game up to 30 seconds faster honestly I can wait the 30 seconds ..so this is a good deal for me but I bought a 1.5 tb hard drive earlier today for about $83 shipped which I already posted another deal for earlier today. Is the stock drive slow?
