Triple Feature Blu-rays $15 @ Wal-Mart (YMMV?)

I swung by my local Wal-Mart after church for Pampers pull-ups for the little one and they had a stand in front of the electronics department full of the Triple Feature Blu-ray packs for $15 bucks. I know they've been on sale for this much at Best Buy before and it may not be a deal to some, but what amounts to $5 a blu-ray isn't a bad deal at all. Plus I noticed some I hadn't seen before. I picked up and TMNT 3-pack (the first 3 movies) and I already own the 300/Troy/Alexander and the V for Vendetta/Watchmen/Constantine packs, but off the top of my head, they also had:

Twister/Poseidon/Perfect Storm
Natural Born Killers/Any Given Sunday/JFK
Losers/RocknRolla/Shoot 'Em Up
Assassins/Cobra/Specialist
The Scorsese Collection: Departed/Goodfellas/Aviator (this was in a case that matched the others, not like the one listed on BB's website).

There were others, I just can't remember which ones. Even though I own them all on DVD already, I'm seriously considering going back and getting the Scorsese and the Loser/RocknRolla/ Shoot 'Em Up packs.

The only one that seemed decent to me was the V for Vendetta/Watchmen/Constantine(?) triple pack.

Also I do remember getting the New Friday the 13th/Nightmare on Elm Street/Freddy vs Jason a couple months back for the same price.
Actually it isn't.
Regardless of whether or not it's truly MSRP, it's the 'normal' price for at least Wal-Mart and Target.

$24.98 is the MSRP. I know that they stay around the $15 mark and that they've been on sale at Best Buy before but regardless, $5 a blu-ray movie isn't terrible.

Yeah saw them earlier today. Didn't get any of em, but they were at $15. Did get Punisher Warzone for $7 though.

Anyone seen any of the three before? Wondering if I should get that one
Assassins and The Specialist are up there with Cliffhanger, for bad Sly movies. Cobra I haven't seen in so long that I don't really remember it, but I vaguely recall liking it, when I was a kid.

Assassins isn't very good, from that strange Stallone period where he left Rambo and Rocky behind and was trying to develop a new pseudo-intellectual action persona. The most interesting thing about it is that the Wachowski brothers wrote it, and Julianne Moore plays a sort of prototype version of Trinity from The Matrix.

Cobra is classic 80s Sly-as-badass-cop stuff, Specialist is kind of po-faced and takes itself too seriously, but James Woods is hilarious in it.

My husband snagged these at our local Walmart yesterday, $15 each set.

Losers/Rocknrolla/Shoot 'Em Up
The Lost Boys/Lost Boys the Tribe/Lost Boys the Thirst
Beetlejuice/Charlie and the Chocolate Factory/ Corpse Bride

Don't know about the video quality of these, as I haven't viewed them yet. However, each movie is on its own separate disc, which is promising...sometimes you get crappy quality one disc blu ray movie compilations.

Couple more to watch out for at Target are the Superman/Superman 2 Donner Cut/Superman Returns bundle and the Caddyshack/ Blazing Saddles/ European Vacation one.

Picked both up at Target for $15 each.

Looks like I'm going to have to take a trip to WalMart soon and check some of these deals out. I'm seeing some movies listed here that I would love to have on BluRay.

Just picked up the TMNT 3-pack as well as a few out of their $7.98 blu ray bargain bin. Surprisingly good titles in there. Probably going to go back later this week.

The packs that I have of 300/Troy/Alexander and V for Vendetta/Watchmen/Constantine are the same blu-ray discs that come in the stand alone blu-ray cases. The Alexander is even the "Revisted" cut and comes with both blu-ray discs (it's basically a 4-disc pack on that one). The TMNT pack, all the discs look like different pizzas... pretty cool, but I have no idea what the stand alone blu-rays (if they exist) look like. I can put up pics of what I have if anyone wants.

I went ahead and picked up the Losers/RocknRolla/Shoot 'Em Up and Aviator/Goodfellas/Departed packs from Wally World while I was out scoring $12.99 Ghost Protocol and Game of Shadows blu-rays. I noticed that the Scorsese movies are $15 in the triple feature pack, but the exact same set under the "Scorsese Collection" title and box runs $50.

I think the TMNT set Blu Rays probably come from the giant TMNT set from a few years ago that was basically a pizza box. It had of course the three live action TMNT movies and the CG one. I remember seeing it at Suncoast (yes, we still have one) for $60. I would only imagine that the Blu Rays are from that set.
EDIT: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles-Film-Collection-Blu-ray/4096/#Review
Yep, seems it was just as I remembered it. The review mentions the odd Pizza Box packaging and that it was more of a problem then anything. I hate all box sets that do not include actual Blu cases, thankfully, we won't have that problem.

Goodfellas is tempting but I'd rather just get it alone, but for some reason I want the TMNT set the most since I already got most of those blus that were previously mentioned years ago due DVD2Blu and I got the CG TMNT for $5 on Blu a few months ago.

The few local Walmart by me pulled their bluray collections. Anybody have a Walmart with the ninja turtles bluray triple pack still in stock?

I just happened to see a random copy on top of the other triple packs. It seems the triple packs are put on a cardboard shelf away from the Blu Rays. You should find them around electronics. My Wal Mart is just weird I guess, but some may have them closer to the movies like they should be.

Are these sets all three movies on one disc or is it on 3 discs? I'm interested in a few but it seems like they would have to sacrifice some quality if they put them on 1 disc instead of 3 which would defeat the purpose of buying them on blu-ray.

Also I didn't see anyone else mentioned this, I saw an Ocean's 11/12/13 triple pack at Wal-Mart as well.

My TMNT set was on 3 separate discs.
