TV mount stand question

I'm looking for a stand for my new http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Samsung...HDTV/9789725.p?id=1218175321446&skuId=9789725 TV. Can I mount this TV on a stand based on it's weight or do I have to find something for the size? Anyone got any suggestions on a stand that the TV is mounted to? I refuse to pay half of my TV's cost on a stand.

there are tons of stands you could mount that on. clarify your post, what are you looking for exactly?

Find the TV's weight and then go find a stand which can support that weight. Plasmas are really heavy (compared to LCDs) but most stands take that into consideration.

Well some TV stands say 42" and supports up to 150 lbs. This TV weighs 56 lbs and is 50". So with those numbers would the 42/150lb TV stand work with my TV?

The mount may not fit on the TV. I'd get one which supports your TV's size.

It might work, depending on the distance of the mounting inlets on the back but I can't say for sure.
