TV tuner requirements?

I am wondering if the ATi TV Wonder USB 2.0 will work on my computer.

I have a Thinkpad which has 1GB of RAM and a 1.83GHz Centrino Duo processor. It's video adapter is a Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 on a Mobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset.

"TV WONDER USB 2.0 is compatible with graphics sub-systems supporting Microsoft DirectX overlay"

Can my computer handle that okay? I have no idea what the DX capabilities of my card are. I can run that Star Wars RTS game fine, but that's all I know.

I am quite sure all it means is that as long as you card supports DX you are fine. So yeah, there is no reason it should not work.

Yeah, it'll work fine but it looks like it relies on software encoding so you probably can't multi-task while recording stuff.
