It's Sony, they're slow to drop prices on first party games. It's a bit annoying since all of their big 2007 games are still retailing for $60.
 
It was on clearance at Target for $14.98, though it'll be tough to find any in store now this late in the game (I got mine over a month ago).

ive been checking several targets for over a month n they havent had any :cry:
 
You could check your local Best Buy. The one closest to my work, had about 3-5 on a 50% off rack at full price ($59.99 at 50% off would make it the $29.99 price tag of a GH game).

I don't know if your best buys are doing that, but check it out.
