Unreal engine and 4x aa?

CAGiversary!
Hey everyone jus read an article about new details on too human. There saying they tweaked the unreal engine alot and even has 4x aa added now. Was wondering what the 4x aa actually does because gears didnt seem to have any jaggies at all. Or maybe does gears have 4x aa?

Anti-aliasing basically makes the jaggies in games smooth. I'm pretty sure all Xbox 360 games are required to have 4xaa implemented, since it doesn't have an impact on GPU performance due to the GPU having a small amount of embedded RAM.

That's what the 10MB of EDRAM was. To have 4XAA on all games with no sacrafice of GPU processing resources.
