I usually don't check CAG at school, glad I did today though as the ones I wanted aren't in stock anymore, at least, not on sale.

I picked up Spartan: Total Warrior (GCN), Shining Tears (PS2), and Phantom Dust (XBOX). Shipping hurt, but I've wanted S: TW and ST for a loooong time, so I'll stomache it. :\

My Best Buy won't price match anything online unless it's their site, because it can be photoshopped very easily. They also won't price match any store's regular price if the store isn't in the same mall that Best Buy is in.

i really don't think any of these are very good deals with shipping either. people point to Resident Evil DS, but i saw that at more than one store this past weekend during the B2G1, at $24.99 or $29.99, which even at the latter price is still under $20 after discounts. and considering it's been out such a short time, the one's i saw anyway were mint condition. i passed, however, since i suck at and don't really like RE (except the fourth iteration of course).

nevermind i wrote that wrong ... the SOB at the TRU wouldnt even price scan it... i was on the phone with Best buy at the time i was writing this and was thinking about Best buy : )

called TRU 800 line and they said they will look into in and they have gotten over 50 complaints about this worker since Xmas (have no idea why TRU keeps them)

as great as the B2G1 free sales are, I hate buying preowned games because finding the game in good condition is hard.

for instance, for some strange reason, a lot of the preowned games i have purchased in the last 3 months have smelled horrible like smoke.

So I think RE: DS is a pretty good deal, since it is new, and guarunteed to be ashtray free

Yeah, and TRU won their lawsuit. But I think Amazon appealed, and it's at that stage.

Basically, Amazon negotiated a contract with TRU in bad faith. Supposedly the evidence shown at trial basically showed that Amazon knew they were going to screw TRU and wree laughing at their expense.
