You must check out within this timeframe to receive your promotional discount.

If you have not purchased the deal before the time runs out, the discount will no longer apply to the product in your Cart and will be available to other customers who are interested in the deal. If quantities run out, you may apply to be waitlisted for that item. Learn more.

Oh, I never got that pop up before. I tried on the first susan boyle just as a test and it added me. On the second one I got the actual number on the waitlist and the "goog" rank.

I accidentally was signed into my second Amazon account that doesn't have Prime. Now I have to find a penny filler to get free shipping (which is odd, normally the 34.99 price is what counts and you get free shipping)

EDIT: Never mind, it just told me in the very beginning I needed to buy more for free shipping, but final page shows free shipping.

It let me use free shipping.

That was the fastest I had seen anything go for a lightning deal yet. I'm glad I clicked on BttF when it first popped up. It even took a few seconds to acknowledge that I could put it in my cart, even though I clicked immediately. Then it was 100% claimed the next screen after I bought it. Wow.

Managed to grab BttF and Stargate - both great Blu-ray releases.

Now what to do with my DVD copies of Stargate and BttF.

Got both BTTF and Home Alone. Bit on Dollhouse too...should've done the same with the Alice series. Tonight was such a great deal on Blu Rays! The only thing I'd probably want later today is the Batman: Red Hood Blu and maybe get that Uncharted 2: GOTY. Other than that, this has been a great week on deals just not so forgiving on my wallet.

You lucky SOBs! ;) I'm on my way to work so I had to use my iPhone; so the connection was t fast enough. At first it took me to my cart, then it said I had already purchased it and wouldn't let me buy it :(

LOL damn that was quick. I actually put it in my cart immediately & started looking for filler for a few minutes after. The order went through, but am I still o.k. or will I get it on back order since it was 100% claimed when I hit the place order button?

Put Dollhouse in at the last minute and then prepped to hit the button for BttF. Hit the button instantly, but still wasn't sure I got it given the processing...processing..message. But in for two great deals.

Damn, was supposed to get one for my friend... didn't expect the deal to go THAT fast for BTTF. I hate the Waiting List function as you have no way of knowing you have no chance anymore.

But you have hope and sometimes hope is all you need

Fringe Season 1 (DVD) was sold out surprisingly quickly as well. Picked one up as a gift.

Noticed folks say NCIS rarely drops but I see its 14.99 for each of the first two seasons at the moment at Amazon. Could be a deal there.

I haven't seen a lightning deal go so quick so I assumed it would be fine if I was 3 minutes late... Guess I am going to have to wait for another sale :(

Amazon shipping (free 2-day with Prime) is ridiculous! I've already got a bunch of the stuff I ordered on Black Friday . I know they've been great for a while but I honestly wasn't expecting such a quick turnaround on Thanksgiving weekend. Heck I ordered some of it after 9PM!

Wow, why did :br:Alice miniseries go so fast? Maybe they had less up for lightning deal? I got Alice & :br:Dollhouse because I watched it count down to the second and added both to cart, but I'm surprised. I was more worried about not getting Dollhouse.

Last week I got :br:Tin Man for same $7.99 which wasn't even a lightning deal and I liked it better than Alice

Passed on BTTF and Stargate, I think they'll go cheaper

I ordered using regular shipping last Monday night, around 8ish I think. I received it in the mail on Friday. Amazon is awesome.

My Lost boxset came in today. I have to say, I'm really impressed with how it was packaged. It was in a well sized box with some of those styrofoam holders to keep it in place. That box was then placed inside of a slightly larger box along with the other Blu-Rays I ordered packed along the sides. That was pretty solid of them to get such a nice packaging job.

And then I pulled out the Lost set. Good fucking lord that thing is massive for a 36 disc set. They really made it for the fans. Hopefully I become a fan and grow to appreciate the set. :D

I would bet it was packed at the factory that way. Amazon probably just put the boxed lost boxset in a bigger box. They did something like that stargate atlantis box set. the box was labeled not to remove.

When I got it from Best Buy when it came out it was In a box with a slipcover around the box. You open that box and there was the Styrofoam things, and then there was another box inside that (like a greyish box with a bunch of names on it), then you open that box and there is the actual boxset.

Heads up for anyone intersted, Planet Earth BR (David Attenborough narrated version) is at $36. Lowest price so far, not counting the UK Amazon store.

*checks box*
You're right. Good on the manufacturer, and good on Amazon to not be cheap and slap a new shipping label over the box and use only that one box.

I am pumped about getting Batman Under the Red Hood for so cheap, that movie was great and the extras seem extensive on Blu.

I got my Lost box set in and it seenms a bit damaged... One of the sides if the pyramid slightly torn and other minor issues. Think I should try to get a new one or just let it go?

Get a new one.

Theres a chance they'll let you keep that one.

The Thin Red Line (The Criterion Collection) [Blu-ray] - Coming up in a little over an hour for Cyber Week Lightning Deal.

Just wanna give props to Amazon customer service. I accidentally purchased a Video On Demand show, without using the promotional credit I got from one of my Black Friday blu-ray purchases (which is the only reason I would have bothered with V.O.D. in the first place). The guy on the phone gave me a refund without any fuss and explained how to apply the credit properly. Thanks, Amazon!
