Until Butterfly719 decides to update his master list or neocisco posts the official list...I think we should just consolidate everything to this new thread. There wasn't much I was interested in but I snagged a copy of Elite Beat Agents at the Dearborn, MI store and I saw one other copy. Looked for MGS3: Subsistence but couldn't find it. No biggie. I'm drowning in games, so it's not like I need more, even on sale.
 
Everything was gone. I tried pricematching Project Sylpheed at Best Buy, but they wouldn't accept the ad since it said it was a clearance sale. Then, I went next door and did it at Walmart.
 
Last Night in the Albany NY CC I got Condemned & Superman for $8.96 and Lord of the Rings BFME for $16.96. Was the last copys of all 3 games. They had a ton of copys of the Lego Bionicle whatever game and Madden 06. Also some Xbox and PS2 games, but nothing great.

Edit: Yeah so I guesss you can add Madden '06 to your main list. No one should buy it though it was horrible lol

i hear ya! i need help man, i've got over 20+ games in plastic still. I just keep buying games just because they're cheap. it's like an addiction man. my new resolution though is to play through and beat a game before playing the next.

Heh, better quit your job or become REALLY selective with your game buying. I gave up on that resolution a long time ago and instead went with an alternative:

I'll buy a game if it's cheap and I think I may at some point want to try to play it.

Heh, good luck with that idea. I started doing the same thing when I joined CAG, and now I probably have 300-400 SEALED games which I kid myself that I'll play some day.

Picked up the last copy of Eye Toy Kinetic w/Camera...no one took it probably cause it was still marked $49.99! Rang it up at register and it came up at $8.96. Snagged that sucker. Found 2 hidden double packs of GTA for the Xbox.....couldn't come up with why I want them. Left them there. Good games...but just overplayed by me. Although maybe I should go back and get em........hmmmm......:roll:

Went to the OceanGate CC on Sat morning, luckily there was a break in the storm, and they had 2 copies of Medievil PSP so I picked up one. I also went to the PCH CC on Fri and picked up Project Sylpheed. I went there again yesterday to see if I could find any more and there were a few guys there looking for the clearance games as well. I asked one of the clerks if he'd seen any games like Bullet Witch or Condemned and he said those were already gone. He starts saying that they weren't given a list of the clearance games so they don't know which ones are the $8.96 ones and that there are over 100 titles. I told him that I saw the list online and there are less than 100 titles in the 8.96 list. He's like "Less than 100? No there are hundreds of titles!" and he shows me the weekly ad that says that. I guess he was trying to include every single other title that have been on clearance for a long time, but I haven't seen those in CC's for a while now.
 
I hate Circuit City. My GF looked for about 10 different games from those lists that I wanted and they didn't have squat.

I checked out my local CC in hopes of snagging Partners in Time and Chocobo Tales for the DS, no dice. Ended up getting the last copies of Magical Starsign and Lunar Knights.
 
Well, my CC was mostly cleaned out already, but the only thing I found was huge amounts of Yakuza. That was good enough for me to buy. :cool:
 
I went to check out the local Circuit City, and I think besides a couple copies of Call of Duty 2 (360) and Children of Mana (DS) there weren't any other games available.

I will say that I did see another CAG'er there, or at least I assumed he was as he moved from section to section, methodically looking at each box before moving to the next row. It almost kinda made me laugh to myself, because it totally reminded me of those nature documentaries where the camera is observing some animal scavenge the area for food and scratching all around the ground. Only this time the sounds of scavenging were more like "clack, clack, clack" as the unbreakable plastic security gaming containers knock together like some guy thumbing through an old LP collection.

Didn't look like he found anything either.
 
Got a copy of Project Sylpheed at one CC and tried to get a copy of Top Spin 2 at another, but it rang up at $16.96. Tried to suggest to the cashier that the game was on the $8.96 clearance and perhaps there was a list she could check, but she seemed unsure of what I was talking about - then the light went out of her eyes as she slipped into auto-gum-chew mode. I left the game there, too spoiled by this site to spend eight bucks more on it.

I'm guessing Top Spin 2 is YMMV at $8.96 even if you can find it.

Dunno if it was already posted, but despite my knowledge of how crappy the CC is in Colma/Daly City/ CA I went anyway, and it was 100 copies of ERAGON 360. Reminded me of how much I hate this dirty, filthy, crowded, over priced CC in Colma.

King Kong PS2 for $19.99??? so not clearance ... :(

Best buy was even worse, a big giant bin of games "are these on sale?" I ask

me "um, these are all red label/greatest hits, they are already $19.99 retail"

So I waste my time picking threw the 100 copies of Poker, Pacman and Just cause, everything rings up at $19.99 except for wipeout and Splinter Cell. Waste of time
 
Taylor,MI CC had a few copies of EBA after I left but that was about it. I saw one Children of Mana, and a copy of Scurge: Hive also. Pheonix Wright : Justice For All rang up 14.99 though, 1/2 off the sticker price. Some games were in the discount bin, and others on the racks.
 
Anyone confirm the $9 price on DBZ: Budokai 3 or Soul Cal 3 for the PS2? I called back to the same store that very night and the next lady said they didn't have any, despite them having a few a few minutes earlier. Grrrr
 
How in the hell are you people getting Call of Duty 2 (360) for the sale price when it's not even on their clearance list?!?
 
I went to the Arundel MD CC, and I got Ridge Racer and Quake 4, which was exactly what I was looking for. I have everything else that I would want...

There is one more Quake 4, some Tony Hawk AW's, some Bomberman's, and some sports games left.
 
Are all the clearence games labeled clearly? My CC has a bunch of these, but they're not listed as being on sale. Thanks!

Nope it depends on the Circuit City. A lot of stores don't update clearance games with current price labels or pull them from the racks.

It IS in on the clearance list. The list doesn't speciy whether it's PH or not, and there is no SKU listed. It simply says Call of Duty 2 - 360 - $8.96. If they have a list nearby, argue that it says that and they should PM it without hassle.
 
Taylor, MI CC is cleaned out on 360/PS3 games... didnt find one thing i wanted and searched all of the shelves.

Went to two of my local cc's and was lucky to find a stray copy of farcry: instincts predator for 360 but nothing else. Was hoping to find doa volleyball, quake 4 and virtua tennis 3 but oh well.
 
Went to Circuit City in Aventura FL during lunch. I was looking for Yakuza but couldn't find it. I noticed that they had several Devil May Cry 5th Anniversary Collection sets. So I took one to an employee to see how much it was going for. He checked the price and said "Wow! $8.96!" So I picked it up. That one's not on the list. The list only says Devil May Cry 2.
 
Went looking for another EBA but didn't see it on the shelves. I asked, but no luck. Then I walked by a pile of games, dvds, cds and spotted a few DS games in the stack. Pulled out EBA, Custom Robo and Children of Mana.

Also saw about 20+ copies of Condemned.

the CC in hialeah had plenty of Yakuza.. oh yeah they also had Okami
 
I found the last copy of Parappa the Rappa at the Daly City,CA Circuit City. There was no price tag and it was in a plastic case but it rang up to 9 something.

It IS in on the clearance list. The list doesn't speciy whether it's PH or not, and there is no SKU listed. It simply says Call of Duty 2 - 360 - $8.96. If they have a list nearby, argue that it says that and they should PM it without hassle.[/quote]

I've seen two reproductions of an official-looking list (one a PDF of scans, one a series of jpgs) and COD2 360 is not on either list. It is on the list in the OP, but I doubt you'll have much success using a printout of that to get a PM.

Perhaps djkunai can provide a link to the list he mentioned.

I went to CC in Yonkers and I saw a list but did not see COD 2 360 in it. The store was pretty much picked clean exept for a couple of copies of Heatseeker Wii $15 and Just Cause 360 $15. I got the last copy of Meet the Robinsons 360 $9 for my kids. Now I need to buy the 360 Pro(2 free games) if I can find it at Best Buy (got many gift cards)... Have about 10 games for the 360 but dont even have the system yet. My wife thinks I'm sick !!!
 
i just bought 2 games that were susposed to be 8.96..for 16.96..how would i go about returning them and fixing it?..so i can get them for 8.96
