Urgent help picking PC Laptop: Samsung Series 7 or HP Spectre

First off I will I may do some light gaming to medium, like Diablo 3.

The samsung ^^ series 7 I have seen in person, looks like nice and the specs are good for the price.

The HP Spectre, I just love the looks of the laptop. the specs are run of the mill ultrabook.

I need to buy one quick for productivity purposes.

Well between the two you've linked to, Id go with the Samsung.

Never buy HP, they make their computers with parts from the bottom of the barrel. Anyone that talks up their HP laptop got that lucky lemon.

As for the price, that Samsung is extremely expensive for its specs.

Really ask yourself what you really NEED your laptop for. I am not a fan of people spending more than $800 for a laptop.

Not sure if you're looking at these two b/c of the video card, but I've got a core i5 and an nvidia gt325m in my laptop and i played skyrim and diablo 3 on medium settings w/o issue. Just fyi, you may be able to get by with something cheaper.

Also, I like to recommend Asus b/c they cover accidental damage with the factory warranty.

Edit: just looked at the hp specs. That video card is probably going to be way underpowered for newer games like diablo 3.

The HP seems overprice. I wouldn't call the Samsung a good price but it is the better of the two. But better laptops for cheaper are common. I'd take a look at the barns and noble-Lenovo webpage.
