USB Mic Question

I have a USB mic for the Wii that came with Rock Band 2. Since it's just a USB mic, I was wondering if it could be used on the PS3 as well. Does anyone know? Thanks.
 
I can confirm it won't hurt a thing to try it. Whether it'll work worth a damn is another story. I've swapped console mics to PC and vice versa with no ill effects. I can tell you the console ones don't have very good sound quality on a PC.
