Use micro sd in psp w/ pro duo adapter

I've seen pro duo adapters that can use a micro sd card for memory. Since micro sd are so cheap (in comparison to pro duo) I was thinking of going this route in my psp. I heard the read/write times are a bit lower. The one you linked to said it only supported up to 2 GB so really, it isn't worth it once you buy the adapter and the SD card. If i can an adapter for around $20 that supports up to 8 or 16 GB, i'll give it a shot.

*Edit 1: might have found one here. Nevermind, shipping charges pretty much kill this since it's a risk.
*Edit 2: i came across a company called TwinMOS that makes an adapter that looks legit...can't find it anywhere though. If someone finds it, please post a link.

Fair enough, but microSD cards are almost half the price of Pro Duo...hence wanting an adapter. I already have a 4 GB Pro Duo, but the 8 GB+ will take a while to come down in price.

No free shipping on that---not sold by Amazon direct. Amazon's price is $39 with free ship. Still not a bad price for 4GB MS.
