Using a European LCD With SCART Inputs In The US

A bit of a conundrum here. I stumbled across a Sony KDL-26U2000 at a thrift store for $10. Figured I'd take the plunge and get it and see how I may be able to fit it into my retro setup. If not then no harm no foul as it was so cheap. It's rated at 50hz and 220-240v so obviously those are the two biggest issues when using it here in the States. It does have two scart inputs which is nice but I think I may be out of luck using anything but European consoles for it. What do you guys think?

SCART for Americans or NTSC for that matter is pretty useless, since S-Video is our best option outside of whatever Shipwreck was talking about with the Framemeister on the CAGcast.

NTSC runs at 60hz, meaning there is a speed difference between how our SNES works compared to the Europeans.

I guess you can play Global Defense Force on the PS2.

And don't plug that TV in if you can afford to repair the damage. You have to use a voltage regulator in order to use that tv.
