I heard that DDR Mario Mix is out of production for the rest of the year due to unknown reasons (possibly issues with getting more dance pads), so that might be a good one to grab as the remaining stock is light. Too bad the only CC in my state is always OOS of the popular stuff anyway.

Sounds like they are included then cause there aren't other wireless controllers for $50 are there? Last I saw the Logitech ones were $40 each I think.

Yeah, my CC is out of them already. I think they had a half dozen when it came out, that's probably all they ever got, checked yesterday. Ah well.

Isn't using two coupons YMMV in the first place? I'm pretty sure it's only one per transaction, unless you get a cashier who dosen't care.
 
What is this crap with guides on sale? Hopefully no one actually goes for it, otherwise in the future our cheaper games will prolly be changed to "buy 49.99 said game, get guide for 9.99" instead of just the game for 37.99 or so.

Depends on the coupon's text, though I've used 1 GGC per item without issue with multiple items. Most of the coupons that I've seen usually say "not combinable with any other offer", which might invalidate the $10 GC possibility. The same coupon being used multiple times (multiple GGC's) isn't an issue that I've seen. Different coupons (GGC + PS2 coupon, GGC + $10 off coupon, etc.) tend to be a problem, since the register wants to lock out any other price adjustment or coupon usage when you use one.

I knew Battalion Wars would go cheap once it started getting the very average reviews, compared to the Advance Wars titles... I wonder if it's worth $20 though, hmmmm.

Its totally different than Advance Wars (based on what I've played of the DS version, which I'm pretty sure is similar to the GBA titles), which is probably why those reviews came about. It's a nice real-time strategy at the unit level. I think it's worth 20, though that's based off a rental, so I'm not sure how long it is. It was certainly fun though. Without the coupon I would probably wait, but I have a feeling it will still be a while before it hits $20 on its own. Not that I would get around to it till that time.

Of course, now that I think about it, a $20 retail price means $15 after GGC. I think I will wait.

Its about 3 feet tall and has what I'm guessing is roughly a 13 inch monitor. I played on it a bit at Target today and I wasn't impressed enough to say its worth $400. At best its worth $100 if that even.

the thing sucks big time. For 400 dollars you can make your own MAME arcade unit of better build, quality, and of course, better games.
 
Considering GTA:SA for the Xbox...ummm custom soundtracks...wonder if this is the version with the hot coffee mod? Or is that only for PS2???

it was for ps2 and xbox, but you would have to buy that version used from a store like eb or gamestop or gamecrazy because the ones they sell new had the hot coffee removed(for obvious legal reasons)
 
About that Toys R Us deal for DS games

can the free game cost more than the ones I buy?
did it say the tpyical "must be euqal or lesser value?" because I didnt see it mentioned

62" tall (5ft 2"...nearly double what you claimed)
23 3/4" deep

If BB is matching their own price, they won't provide the additional 10% difference, at least they haven't to me and have told me they wouldn't when they PM their own prices. If they're PMing a competitor, they'll do PM + 10% additional.


CC will PM their own prices and competitor's prices at PM + 10% additional. Again, this is my experience with them.

Isn't this only if you PM after you purchase...

For example, I price matched several things on sale this week @ CC when shopping at BB, however, they just dropped the price to the competitors.

However, I think if I'd bought it the week before at BB, then saw it on sale @ CC, and went back to BB for a PM, then I'd get the additional 10%?

That's just my experience though... I've never managed to get them to give me the additional 10%.

Let me clear this up a little.

If you purchased something at BB @ $49.99 and they dropped it a week later to $29.99, you'd get back $20 + tax.

If you purchased something at BB @ $49.99 and CC advertised it a week later at $29.99, you'd get back $20 + $2 (10% add'l PM difference) + tax.

If you purchased something at CC @ $49.99 and they dropped it a week later to $29.99, you'd get back $20 + $2 (10% add'l PM difference) + tax.

If you purchased something at CC @ $49.99 and BB advertised it a week later at $29.99, you'd get back $20 + $2 (10% add'l PM difference) + tax.

Again, this is in my past experience in St. Louis, though BB won't PM + 10% their own prices, though they will any competitor's prices. CC will PM + 10% their own and competitor's prices. That's why if BB has an item advertised for cheaper, I'll take it to CC to match, rather than BB directly, since I'll miss out on the 10% additional.

I am a RZ member, though with the lack of buying I've been doing with BB in the last 12 months, I'm not getting as much out of it as I used to. Plus, most of my BB's tend to be very dickish about PM's versus CC, which tends to be extremely easy to deal with PM's.

Plus, their whole "come buy a 360, oh, wait, you have to buy it in a bundle" has me a bit irked at them at the moment. Only reason I'd buy Batallion Wars this time around is that I can slap the $10 coupon on top of it and get it for $20. Same thing I'm sure I'll do when POP: TTT launches, and Ubi drops it down to $30 like they've done with most of their stuff a month after launch.

Does CC or BB ever have any online coupons, such as the $5 off variety, If so were can I find those when available?

And thanks once again OP for the ads, I picked up GTA: SA xbox up via bestbuy.com online this morning, about 30minutes ago to make sure when I wake up it didn't happen to say "OOS".
 
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes at CC isn't $14.99.....yet.

I just tried to buy it online and it's showing up at $19.99, I called their telephone ordering service and was told that they couldn't give me the cheaper price until it was updated in their computer system.

That might not happen until waaay later today. Just wanted to give a heads up for those wondering wth was up.

Also they tried pulling the old excuse that it's instore only, I told her "uhhh sorry, but I've got the ad right in front of my face and I looked it over verrry carefully, and umm it's not...."

Only had to wait on hold (twice) for 10 minutes until they finally came up with an explanation for me, I hate dealing with CC.

Grabbed MP2 today, thanks TSD. My local CC sucks, not only did they not have a sale sign up for MP2, but it even scanned at $19.99. I had to point out the advertisement to the cashier for her to make the price adjustment. They still tons in stock at least.
 
Just got back from Best Buy. Here's what I bought:

Battalion Wars GC: $19.99 after coupon
Guild Wars PC: $19.99 after coupon
Fable: Lost Chapters XB: $14.99 after coupon

So for $55, I got what would've cost me $120 at Best Buy only yesterday. PLUS, I got the free $10 gift card. Incredible.
