We're heading to NYC for the first time this weekend, and are looking for a few "must visit" suggestions while we're there. We're staying in the Upper West Side near Broadway and W 96th St.

We'll definitely be visiting Times Square and the Nintendo World Store, but that's all we have so far.

Any suggestions on cool locations to visit that are near Times Square or where we're staying, or any really good restaurants (not necessarily high-end, we're open to anything!). Thanks!

Definitely check out the Natural History Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. While you are checking out the Nintendo World Store stop by Rockefellar center, see the tree, do a little shopping. The Radio City Christmas show is a lot of fun for the younger members of the family. While in the times square area, head to restaurant row on 46th between 8th and 9th for a huge variety of nice restaurants.

The wax muesum is pretty cool.

The TRU in Times Square is also pretty cool.

Also, don't get too excited for the World Store.

I was a bit disapointed when I went over the summer. It's no big deal. And everything is really expensive.
