CAGiversary!
There are some $12 BDs listed in this week's Walmart ad. I picked up TDAT for $9 using the MF coupon so those are confirmed to work.

$12 BDs pictured in ad
Live Free or Die Hard
Eragon
Mr. & Mrs. Smith ($9 after MF coupon)
The Day After Tomorrow ($9 after MF coupon)
Independence Day
X-Men

Additional $12 BDs
AVP
Man On Fire ($9 after MF coupon)

NO Pirates of the Carribean, sorry guys.

Here are some $13 BDs I also found at one of the stores.

$13 BDs
The 5th Element
Men in Black
The Patriot
Resident Evil
Resident Evil Apocalypse
XXX

Also worth noting, there are $3 MF coupons in the following thread, sweetening the deal to $9 each for Mr/Mrs Smith, ID4, TDAT, Man on Fire.

Has the framing issue been rectified with PotC? Can we just look for a 'Version 2' somewhere on the package to make sure we're not getting the flawed discs from a while back?

I'll be getting Mr. and Mrs. Smith and ID4, thanks OP (as if the Steam holiday sale hasn't lightened my wallet enough already)...
POTC for 12 bucks if true, is definitely mine.
I wonder how "well" Passion of the Christ would have been if they REALLY wanted to make it historically accurate. As in not making Jesus white. Actually, it would not have done as well people in the West like their protagonists white.

I don't know if there's an easy way to tell by the packaging, but the replacement program was started in mid-2007, so it's highly unlikely it'll be one of the mis-aligned discs. If it is, the program is still running. Just google for the contact info.

In it for X-Men.
Some people were reporting these prices yesterday. Wal-mart may have started the deal early.
Yeah I might go by and check today, I'll report back.

I'll do the same at a Metro Atlanta Wally World.
Yeah I might go by and check today, I'll report back.
I'm back. Went to two walmarts, neither of them had the blus I was looking for (TDAT, Pirates, X-Men). I did find Casino Royale CE for $14.96 ($24.99 on amazon) and some other $13 blu-rays at one of the walmarts. I have updated the original post with the info.

That issue was resolved over two years ago, so any discs with the improper framing should have been phased out long ago.

It officially starts tomorrow with the ad, some have reported it starting today. I couldn't find the $12 list at my local walmart today.

Casino Royale CE has been $14.99 since last April..

I might be in for Men in Black, never got around to picking that up.

Would love to pick up some of the Pirates BD at that price so I hope they really are included.

FLOL, are they talking about Passion of the Christ, or Pirates of the Carribean???

clearly Pirates since there haven't been any sequels to Christ, and i've never heard anyone ever refer to christ as POTC...

You didn't know about Passion of the Christ 2: Christ Harder?
You didn't know about Passion of the Christ 2: Christ Harder?
Yeah, it's pretty much the same as the first, except it takes place in a synagogue.
So did anyone did the transaction successfully with the coupon?
Yes, I just returned and can bring this mystery to a close.

First, NO $12 Pirates movies. Sorry guys, whoever reported that was incorrect. All of the Pirates movies rang up $19.96, the only $12 titles are the Fox ones, no disney titles are included.

I picked up The Day After Tomorrow for $9 (after $3 MF coupon) and X-Men for $12. I can also confirm they had AVP and Man On Fire for $12 in addittion to the ones listed in the ad. If I didn't already have Man On Fire I would pick it up in a second for $9 (after MF coupon), fantastic film.

Hope this helps.

In typical fashion my Walmart was either picked clean or was never restocked after the initial shipment was sold causing them to not have any in stock for this sale. The only thing I seen was an empty spot for Independence Day.

I stopped at 2 different Walmarts and both of them had shelf tags for all of the $12 Blu Rays but not a single one of them were on the shelf. Pissed me off real good.

Yeah, does anyone in the North Eastern area have a general idea of what titles are available? Seems like there should be more than what's in the ad.

on a side note, i love how the updated OP made special note of POTC.

went to two walmarts to find man on fire, no dice. all i found was fifth element and the resident evil movies

Went by my Wal-Mart today after work and these were all in a special cardboard standee with the titles. I picked up Mr and Mrs Smith, Day After Tomorrow and Eragon and used the $3 FOX Coupons on ALL of them so I got them for $9 each. I also saw Mirrors w/ Digital Copy, AVP, Cast Away, Man on Fire, Fantastic 4 Silver Surfer and there were more. I'd say in total about 24 titles to choose from.

Shopping for :br:s at Wal-Mart is maddening.

I went to 3 stores, a Super, a larger normal store(with Tire/Lube), and an older small store.

The oldest, smallest store was the only store with Man on Fire and the rest of the $12 titles advertised.

But I was able to use the $3 Fox coupon printout to get Man on Fire for $9.

I managed to find a store that had them all in stock aside from Eragon. I ended up holding myself to just buying 1, X-men.
