WalMart now offers Service Plans

WalMart is now offering Service plans for most any electronics purchase you make in store or online. Thing is you have to purchase your service contract online and you have to purchase it within 30 days of your original purchase. I got a 3 year replacement plan for my DVD recorder for just $16.58. Not a bad deal IMHO.

interesting. You'd think from a business perspective, you wouldnt want to launch any replacement plan gig anywhere near a Sony launch.

Damn, I hear about this just a couple of days after I get the PSP from BB. In any case, while going to school I worked at a Wal-mart, so I have friends there that wouldnt mind buying stuff for me w/ their 10% off discount card, but being you couldn't buy a service plan back then, it was to risky w/ expensive stuff (i.e. HDTV, PSP's.)
