I ran across this a few mins ago.

http://www.gamespot.com/articles/wal-mart-taking-on-gamestop-will-soon-accept-video-game-trade-ins/1100-6418369/

In a news article from a local news station here, it was mentioned that they plan on accepting even as far back as PS1 games. Didn't see anything about that in those two articles, but might be interesting if they do. They also say that its trade ins are store credit only. At least there is a way around that by just using the credit to buy a prepaid Visa or what not. I have mixed thoughts on it. It may be a decent way to get money for some games when the program rolls out. What's everyone else's thoughts? Of course other than another retailer raping us gamers

sweet the only place that sells 100 calorie popcorn. Now I can get a copy of halo wars for $25 used. #thankyouobamaforraisingthepricesoneverything

The games are such a mess at Wal-mart I can't imagine this will be good. They will be a disorganized mess if they are buying and selling used games.

I'm sure its going to be a pain in the ass to sort thru anything that they will have.  Considering the average Walmart shopper just tosses anything and everything everwhere, locating stock will be a bitch.  The only way it could even work is to put the spine out with a price tag on it in one of those large cases.

If they offered a fair trade in value at launch so they can entice people to bring stuff in so they can build up a stock, you may get lucky and get a fair amount of store credit.  And even tho its store credit, theres nothing stopping one from buy a prepaid Visa or MasterCard and then go elsewhere
