Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

Anyone know the difference between the Walmart Exclusive with sku 47376063 and the regular Special Forces one with sku 38690829?
The Walmart version is $59.96 everywhere and oos at the $15 stores. The regular version is coming up available as $49.96, $25 and $20 but show up regular price $59.96 on the other one.
I'm pretty sure one of them is an older model without the headphone jack, I bought the $15 one and it does have the jack

I'm just amused that someone came up with a term meant to shame people for being moral. Only the internet, folks!

"So you're NOT going to eat that kitten? Stop your virtue signaling and be dirtbags like the rest of us!"

Blade has a bit of trouble with people on CAG. I've seen him on other threads doing this same thing.

You mean telling people to stop projecting and arguing over useless shit? Yeah, I tend to do that. Thanks for contributing this time, ThatOneGuyWho. I'm thankful that you work at Walmart and provide us information you know is correct.

Working at Walmart doesn't mean someone knows anything.

I ran into a store yesterday that all the managers had never read the policies posted at every single register in the store.

[*]Limited Edition PS4 controllers have dropped to $20 and have stayed so for about 2 months now. Very hard to find these but stores should have them in a box in their stock room. Each box holds 6 controllers each so if a store has 6 or multiples of 6 showing on count, they likely have it in a box.
Unless something has changed in the last couple months, they're actually in cases of 4, FYI.

Wait, the person that wants to tell a business what they can and can't do with THEIR inventory is calling me entitled?

Irony at its finest.
No, the person who wants to tell a cuck of an employee to shut the fuck up and do their fucking job before they end up in the unemployment line is calling you entitled. Joe Blow has no right to dictate what can and can't be sold. He's not the business. He's just an employee.

I have never worked for Walmart. I just have lots of connections from my career to gain information about several stores and their policies. If you don't want to believe that info you don't have to.

You might be right. Was a while since I got boxes of them so it might be 4. Maybe I'm thinking of Xbox One controllers.

Either way, let's get this thread back on the right track. I appreciate others posting information and hope that the info I post has helped some of you. If anyone doesn't want that info, they can simply leave the thread. I would hate to have to ask mods to regulate anything in this thread when thee only problem is a few people making up their own policies. So yeah, back to posting deals.

You mean "professional flipper" or maybe we should call it "economic demand opportunity specialist"?

Grabbed

Lego jurassic world X1 for $5.

They had battlefront and mortal kombat x for $10 on x1. The lady adjusting the prices said they had a whole pallet to put out still. Going back tomorrow.

Not sure if any flippers are interested but a walmart that I visited today had X1 zoo tycoon for $5. Gamestop gives $15 cash or $17 store credit without PUR.

Are there any other LE ones besides Uncharted, Star Wars, and 20th Anniversary ones? Those 3 are still all $30 in my area =(

Has anyone actually seen any PS3 Slims at WM clearance? I would pay a bounty for one since my 1st gen fat PS3 just bit the dust. None of my local stores had any that they knew of.

It wasn't clearance but they sold off probably the last bunch of the 500GB for $150 several months ago. Target also cleared theirs out a little before that. You're probably out of luck to find one left in store now, but I've seen stranger and older things.

Finally found the character Wii remotes after searching several Wal-Mart stores. Every store that showed stock had none - I finally found a pile of them at a store that showed 0 but "Limited Availability" (they actually had 10).

Picked up a Wario amiibo for $3, and a pink and a green yarn Yoshi for $4. Kinda want to find a blue one now, but I think those got clearanced out earlier.

Pink seemed to be available at more stores than green, but the store I went to get the green one from had all of their electronics aisle end caps filled with clearance priced Toys to Life. They even had Lego Dimensions Level packs for $7. Checking Brickseek, it seems it's limited to Year 1 Level Packs. Sonic pack is still full price.

Managed to snag a couple of good deals.  It's has a rather long but good related story concerning the prices.  So if you want to just skip all that to the end, that's fine, just don't expect to find the same prices.

First item was that I finally snagged a WiiU wireless controller.  It hung around for two reasons, first it was still tagged at $37 but I brought it to a scanner and it scanned for $15.  The second was the box was completely mangled, one corner of the box was completely gone, the rest just beat and re-wrapped in tape.  It looked like it was previous lodged inside a wood chipper.  I thought to myself for a bit.  Figured as long as the return policy was still good on it & if the electronics associate was cool we me opening it up right there after I bought it to check for damage.  That way if there was damage, I wouldn't have a issue in returning it since I never left the store.  I said what the hell I roll the dice.  Took it over to the counter to ask, the guy said not to bother and was nice enough to open it there before I bought it to save me the hassle.  Pulled out the controller and there was not a single mark on it, absolutely perfect.  Told him I'd take it.  After the guy scanned it, he was surprised by the price.  He knew all the WiiU stuff was on clearance but didn't know it dropped that low.  Told him it's because the WiiU is a dead system now thanks to the Switch.  He got a chuckle and agreed with me on that and then also knocked off a couple of bucks on it since the box was mangled.  In the end I got it a WiiU wireless controller $10.

The second pick up I got (same store & super cool associate of the month btw) was I found a old Marvel vs Capcom 3 SE for the PS3.  Now I remembered seeing this lone copy there forever in the case, until one day a while back it just disappeared.  Now months later I find it buried in their value rack/bin, wrapped in a spider wire :whistle2:?, the slip cover just beat and worn, but I figure from what I could see the steelbook was still in good shape & I was hoping the slip cover protected it.  So I took it over to the self scanner and it came up Not Found in System.  Now normally I have no luck when it comes to NFS items.  I always get either of the following 3 results when it comes to these things,

1. The plain old we can't sell it to you.

2. Want to charge the priced that it's marked(which wasn't applicable in this situation since it didn't have a price tag.)

3. Look up the original retail price of the item and want to charge me that.

So you can see why normally I wouldn't even bother, but again like the control I figured what the hell, let's take a shot.  So after ringing up the controller, the associate scans this and I get the usual "Oh, that's weird." statement.  He spends a minute trying to find it in the system no luck.  He then looks up what I assume was it's retail price on release as after a moment he then says "Your kidding me?  There's no way 9 year old game is going cost $70 bucks.  You found this in the value rack right?"  I told him yes and that truth be told I'm really only interested in it for it's steelbook, which is true as I plan on removing the game and putting my copy of UMvC3 for the PS4 in it.  He then tells me to just give him a minute as he needs a floor manager to come over and issue a system override.  We wait a few minutes as the manager drags their feet to show up.  He tells the manager that it's coming up NFS, it was in the value rack and that he just needs a override for the price.  He then asks me if $15 for it sounds good to me, I agree and he rings me out.  Tells me to have a nice day, I thank him and

as I begin to walk out I quickly tell the manager that this guy deserves a raise as he was the single most helpful associate I've ever had at any Walmart.  Oh just for reference and I did check the steelbook once I was in the car it in perfect shape the slip cover saved it.

So in the end I walked out with

WiiU wireless controller - $10

Marvel Capcom 3 SE  - $15

All in all I say a good day :D/

Man it is always nice to hear about a good WM employee. Most people want to hate on the store but I for the most part never have issues with them. I know some of them hate their jobs probably but every now and then you find one that is willing to actually help you and are nice about it.

I ran into a similar deal as Sporkis. I found ExciteTruck and Wii Music in the clearance bin. I took it to the cashier and they scanned it and it came up with no price. She was typing for a bit and was like they are 49.99 each. I told her "No thanks" and they she got an annoyed look on her face since apparently she rang them up and didn't do a price check. I wish I was as luxky as you. Haha

I saw tons of the Uncharted 3 GOTY bundle for $100 at my local WM a few weeks ago.

Saw some Sony 3d TV for $154
You'd be surprised what is still in some of Walmarts backroom. I really wish I could have the chance to just pick thru one stockroom.

Here are just some of the odd things I've found recently when Walmart decides to check "that one unopened box that's been in a corner for a decade".

[*]Pokemon Sapphire
[*]Odama with Mic
[*]Playstation 3 Black Friday 2011 Bundle
[*]PSP Go Launch Bundle
[*]Skylanders Trap Team Light and Dark Pack

Pokemon Sapphire was the rarest thing I've found randomly. Its brand new in perfect condition. Girl said it was in a box in the back. They were clearing the stock room and decided to check what was in these random boxes. They found a bunch of GBA games and marked them at reduced price.

After recently getting into Trap Team, I'd swore off ever finding the light and dark pack. Would you by chance have an item number or sku?

My store put a few Wii U games on the clearance shelf. Tokyo Mirage Sessions was at the low clearance price of $59.96. Sigh.
