Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

Too old to be a millennial. My kids pick out fun socks for me and I wear them all the time. I just don't give a shit what others think.

Hell, the past two days, I've been rocking this bracelet my 5 year old made for me this weekend.

You can never go wrong with Target clearance sheets. Being a CAG doesn't have to be limited to just games, especially when you can get queen sheet sets for under $10.

Stopped by that DFW Walmart again since it's on my way to work and found a bunch of kid-friendly 3DS stuff for $.50 each. Games like Frozen, Gravity Falls, LEGO Batman 3. Perfect gifts for my neices' birthday since we bought them 2DSes.

Also got Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Stardew Valley CE for PS4 for $3 each. Stardew must have been some weird glitch, since it came out like two weeks ago, but ASM2 is an odd PS4 title that has retained value.

We know, it just came out on the PS4 though.

Well of course. Physical PS4 and Xbox like just launched though. Was weird seeing it that cheap.
This happened with :xb1: Ori and the Blind Forest at one of my local stores. Game didn't even come out yet but it was in the clearance section for half off. Bought it just because.

Did they have those games on display, or were they "in the back" ? I went there this evening and all I got was this lousy T-shirt. There was a guy working in Electronics that didn't seem like the "go the extra mile type" and said that all they had left was what was left on the endcap.

When I got the 3DS stuff (last time I saw the endcap full) the guy working said they still had a ton to put out, but that they weren't priced until they were on the floor.

Stardew was floating in the PS4 case, which is where I found Kirby and The Crew previously. Spider-Man was by the normally-priced cheaper titles.

So it's really up in the air. I've asked to see the back stock but it's either not allowed or nonexistent.

Oh I forgot to post this weeks ago.

Went to a walmart about 40 minutes away from my place and usual stops. They did super discounts there only one I ever saw discounts that good.

Ps4 lego JW $5

PS4 Knack for $3

PS4 1886 $1

A bunch of old ps3 sports games for $1

Xbox one games for $1 to $5

I got a copy of knack and 1886 and a $26 new ghostbuster lego set that day.

I should've gotten some of the xbox one games for friends or for possible flips, but I usually only think of game I want to play than possible flips or what friends would want......

Looks like another round of Star Wars Disney Infinity price drops. Saw the individual figures for $3 today and the 2 Star Wars packs (2 figures and a level pack) for $6.

Captain America set is $6 too. Saw this morning as well.

I'm waiting on the Aladdin/Jasmine and Wreck-it Ralph two packs to drop.

They were $30 up until a couple weeks ago when they finally marked them down to $15.

Hoping they'll get down to $6 or less.

Nobody's buying those or the stack of 8-bit Mario Amiibos that's been sitting on their shelf for months.

Wasn't making fun. It's like when your watching porn and see sheets, curtains, etc and go, wow I have that same thing. Lol

I stood in a Walmart for 2 hours once checking the GameStop app for flip values because it turned out to be worth flipping $3 games that I bought there. This year alone, I paid for a backup 500 gb PS3, numerous games, and PSN and Xbox Live credit doing this, so I would say it was worth buying extras.

Found this on Facebook. The guy said its legit. I read recently that Walmart wanted to get rid of all WiiU  accessories and games.

You know you can just take a game out of the display case, put it on top of the bin, take a picture, and say, hey look at what's $20. Unless there is a receipt or it shows up as $20 on brickseek, then it smells like bs.

Fact that you have only one other active post doesn't help your cause either.

I returned once again to the infamous D-FW Walmart and found a Spongebob 3DS game for $.50 and a PS4 copy of We Sing with 2 microphones for $3. Spongebob will go to the nieces but We Sing, I'm not totally sure.

Unfortunately, it looked like that was it for this wave of clearance items. They looked like either stragglers or games found in other parts of the store and returned to the rack.

You guys are lucky having a walmart with 3 dollar games get them while they are hot. I cleaned house in my area the cheapest were 5 bucks. Lol

No surprise they didn't last long. Good golly what deals.

Ive seen plenty where .01 off was "clearance".
This.

I have also seen items where the "was" price is actually lower than the "now" price and I scanned the item to find it did match the signage's "now" price. Maybe they are encouraging us to buy it now before it goes up in price again.

Went back to Walmart this morning and found Just Dance Disney Party 2 for Xbox One Kinect and Paragon for PS4 for $3 each. I was going to flip Paragon at GameStop, but it won't come up on the trade-in search app, so I might keep it if there's a single player mode. I don't plan to ever buy a PS+ subscription again, so I have to figure out what to do with it. And, I'm keeping Disney Party 2 because (a) I already have a preowned Kinect from last week's GameStop deal and (b) it will give me a healthy outlet for my fantasies about Disney Channel star Sofia Carson.

Hey, Wikipedia says she's 24, so it's not creepy at all!!!

AHA! A classic case of walmart employees lying; stock at a local store that supposedly didn't have any wii remote plus's in stock has gone from 13 to 2. Granted last time I checked was like 2-3 weeks ago, but even so.

Similar thing happened to me. Went and saw they had 7 of each Luigi/Peach remotes and wanted 1 of each. It was behind glass so I asked to purchase them. The price tag was like $30 but said they should ring up $10 which they did. Wasn't too keen on the way the employees acted after knowing this. A week later they were all gone.

Paragon is F2P, which is why they won't take it:https://store.playstation.com/#!/en-us/games/paragon/cid=UP1477-CUSA03608_00-1337014102641337

Also..... in a heartbeat.
I took Paragon back to the store and bought a double cheeseburger meal at Burger King with the money.

And, if I had said Dove Cameron, now that would be creepy. Reminds me of the time some guy on Reddit who got banned from the site after he posted a link to an album of photos of Dove wearing different shades of lipstick.

Is anyone here in the Milwaukee area and tried to get an Armed forces controller from the South Milwaukee store? The on hand has been 11 for months and hasn't changed. They say they don't have them but as someone that has worked for a similar retailer for years that many stolen or discrepancy that big is insane. I keep checking hoping they are just lost in the back room.

Just got a job at Walmart so I could spend my paycheck on clearance deals and NES classics while my public housing subsidy payment is covered by my welfare check and food stamps. God I love living in a commonwealth state!

Nice, you'll still be on all those things because Walmart under-staffs their stores and refuses to pay living wages to employees. Honestly, Walmart is your employer and THEY should be subsidizing you, yet you and tens of thousands of other Walmart workers rely on government assistance for cost of living expenses. And the Waltons are worth a total of $167 billion, which is more than the lower 140 million Americans combined. Corporations are able to pay shit wages and then inflate the price of their products to maintain poverty, but everyone blames the poor.

Anyway, my Walmart is one of the "NFL 2K2 on PS1 for $39.99" types so I don't get good YMMV deals to post. But I did see this refurb 50" Vizio 4K TV for $299/329 online and possibly in store. Cheap for size and pseudo-HDR 4K picture, though I'm pretty sure the P stands for plasma and the included warranty is terrible.

Checked DFW again today on my way to work. Nothing, though DI figures have dropped to $3 a piece. Not bad if you're looking to finish out your collections.

There is another Walmart near me that looks to be dropping prices lower and lower, but not quite crazy deal low yet.

What part? I always find crap, the only decent one I ever found good deals at was the one by Berry at Renaissance Square.
