Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

I tried buying Xenoblade on 3DS some time ago and it wouldn't ring up (dropped out of system?) and the manager came out and said he can sell it to me for $59.99.

Even if Corey in the House is still full price at my store, at least they're upfront about it.

You kids are so cute with your meaningless arguments about which of you has less sex.

Brickseek was accurate when I drove 40 minutes to get my $249 Vizio 50" 4K, where I asked the employee in person instead of calling. And I see him buying the 55" version for himself a few minutes later.

I had a lady tell me she couldn't sell me a floor model laptop that was password protected. She starts muttering to herself that she still has the number to the person who set it, so I'm thinking that she is going to call her for me... Nope, that was for herself. Freaking walmart

They can add deleted items back to inventory but for MSRP. Manager should have done that instead of lying and increasing the price.

Regular employees can not sell you a display model without permission from management. Ask for a department manager and they will likely sell it to you if you can get the password off which isn't hard.

I have a question, do the pre-owned games come with original cases?
I can't say with 100% certainty, but I do know that they're trade in policy requires the cases for the games (at least in store), so generally speaking they do have the case. I work at a WM and have never seen a pre-owned game in our case that wasn't in its original case. Maybe others have more insight regarding online purchases, but I hope this helps.

A dick as usual, my maing mang.

Got a SKU for that Vizio? I looked, but couldn't find it.

Stopped at a Walmart in Rantoul IL. Strangest selection of games ranging from PS2 to Xbox One. Looked up a few game prices and the only decent one was Carmageddon (Xbox One) for $9.

I just picked up 2 today that I had shipped to store. Came with cases shrink wrapped.

NEw or Used?

As of 415pm central time i Saw 3 nintendo switch at the supercenter walmart off of 75th street in naperville illinois. Fyi to any cags in the area.

I've been to three Walmarts within the past 24 hrs and all have had a ton of Switch. Near zip 15275 if anyone is interested and close.
Funny you say this. I finally committed to buying a switch today. I went to walmart but they were sold out but I ended up getting 4 Xbox one Controller with the play and charge kit for $15 each.

I couldn't find any particular clearance section in my local Walmart, nor at one a little farther out, but I did find $1 copies of SW Battlefront (with the Topps thing) and $10 copies of a few different things (Mirrors Edge, FFX Collection, Transformers Devastation). All PS4. All at a Walmart in New Orleans. Brickseek said they had $5 Dead Rising 2 and "low quantity" of a Lego set 90% off, but I couldn't find either, and was in a bit of a rush. Anyway, I hope Battlefront is worth $1

FYI - I found clearance items, Dragon Quest World Tree Blight for $4, Amazing Spider-Man 2 PS4 $9, and Marvel Avenger XB1 $9 at my local Walmart.  Might keep your eyes peeled at the Walmart near you.  Both of mine are clearing out a lot of video games and merch in that area and moving some games with excellent flip values into the clearance bin.

Didn't know where else to put this but a 3rd party seller has storm grey Xbox One S systems for $191. You could sell or trade the digital BF1 code, making it cheaper if anyone was in the market for that color. I have it and I love the color!

Since it is a refurb, would it be safe to assume that the code for the game isn't part of it?

There is a thread for locating Nintendo Switch's in the shopping discussion forum -> here .
I'm really curious to ask this and with zero sarcasm.

Is this really a thing? I'm able to find switches anywhere, nearly any store, and in various states. Last week a best buy employee nearly begged me to buy one. I was in the gaming department and a blue shirt came up asking if I needed help. I said no thank you, and he whispered to me like some sort of super top secret info "by the way we have switches in stock".

Did he put his finger up to your lips and say SSSHHHHHH while throwing you a wink?

That's a killer deal for Portal 2

Anytime I've gone to my local walmart, i've found anywhere from 1 to 6 switches in stock. Seen one today when I picked up my Overwatch :pS4: , Gears of War 4 :xb1: .

While not $2, Runbow WiiU is only $9 at every Walmart near me so it is likely that price at the majority of stores.

Good finds.

Thanks will have to stop by again.

Picked up a bunch of good buys from there before kept some for my self. Traded some. Still have some for trading later.

Sounds like they marked stuff down again. I was trying to stay away. But sounds like I may have to go back.
