Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

Saw several TVs that dropped $100-200 from their original price. Had only 1 or 2 of each but several different models/brands.
Same here. Best drop was probably the 55 Hisense for $300 while like you saw most were 100-200 off so not really a big deal since at stores like best buy where they have sales they've already been that cheap before.

Just a little PSA: been to a handful of Walmarts this week and there seems to be a nationwide clearance also on some light bulbs and TVs. Some of those TV prices look like they might be as good as Black Friday.
Thanks for the tip. I needed a new TV, so I bought one of those shitty Element TVs this morning only to go back this evening to get a refund and purchase a Vizio instead, but I'm satisfied. Thankfully, Walmart has a liberal return policy with TVs as long as you have your receipt. I'm just glad to have a decent gaming TV that displays in 1080 p. The Element wouldn't go above 720 p. Back it went!

Excellent. Glad it helped somebody.

Not game related. But it appears that the Walmart located in Walker Louisiana has the first generation Force link toys on clearance. The 3.75 Figures were $4 and the big ass bb-8 was marked down to $60. Hope this helps someone! If this has been mentioned before, please let me know and I'll remove my post.

Thank you everyone who updated us on the Samsung monitor. I just missed out on one today by a couple of hours but was able to pick up some .03 games.

Flingsmash w/ the Wii Remote bundle
Warioware D.I.Y.

Also, I was able to use the self-checkout fine without it alerting the employees like others have experienced.

I found a copy of Golden Sun at Walmart. Had 2 labels at 34.96, but the barcode i scanned through the glass came up as .3 cents on the app, and asked the electronics guy if he could scan it at the POS for me. He said the 3 cents was "likely an error on the app" but if it came up for 3 cents to definitely get it! and it did ring up that price, and he was actually more than happy to sell it to me.

Made me feel good about a otherwise fruitless trip trying to see if the new Mcfarlane Destiny Titan figure thats stupidly exclusive to walmart had started showing up.

A couple of local stores have a bunch of electronics on clearance.  Almost all of the tvs as has been discussed, but also some thumb drives, laptops (Hp onyx blizzard down to 665 from 900) modems, printers, cables, wireless cameras, cameras and accessories, etc.  I overheard an employee talking about how electronics was getting a total reset.

Nice job on the Golden Sun. If you are looking to sell, I remember seeing some people in this thread asking for a copy.
Nope was simply alerting people 3 cent copies are still in the wild.

Sadly will probably sit in my collection sealed and will never play it. Then die and give it to someone in my estate. You can count on it with my backlog so big. But for 3 cents it's whatever at this point.

Bunches of LED lightbulbs for $1-$3 each at my walmart... May not excite you, but I finally got some of those globe bathroom led lights for cheap. Mainly GE and Great Value.

Also a couple of the Lego Batman sets were cheap too. The $100 batcave with the penguin ducky-boat was $21 and the bane set was $13. This is the second wave of Batman Movie Lego sets clearanced near me.

Thoughts on the HP Onyx Blizzard laptops? Available around me $675 and it has most of the specs I've been looking for.

Logitech Harmony 650 remotes are $19 at a couple of rural Walmarts, and at that price I figured "Why not?".

My one sentence review:

"How have I gone without this all these years?!"

Best $19 investment I've made in ages.

That is a fantastic remote, just wait until you get into their hub-based remotes. Also the configuration software used to be incredibly, excruciatingly bad, but since has become much much better.

Saw a Razer BlackWidow 2016 edition Keyboard for $54 and an Razer Ornata for around $35 (Cant remember). They were 50% off, non-chroma editions.

//edit//

Fixed typo on Ornata keyboard price.

I have the 300 and 350, but I am tempted to get this. The closest Walmart has 2 in stock, but not discounted. Next closest that has it discounted is 30+ minutes away.

Recommendations for the fancier ones? I'd prefer something that doesn't require a phone/tablet.

None of the remotes that I've tried, hub-based or otherwise, require a phone or tablet for every day use. They will most likely require the app for initial setup, but beyond that you can uninstall the app and from that point on you can use the desktop app for further and more advanced configuration. Unless you don't have a device that can properly run the app, dealing with the app long enough to get the remote set up is very worth it.

As for recommending a specific remote, how much of a budget do you have? Do you want a remote with physical number buttons? A touch screen? Rechargeable batteries? Smart home controls? Also, bear in mind that any hub-based remote can be paired with any hub, and more than one remote can be paired with the same hub.

I have the logitech harmony ultimate one

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/logitech-harmony-ultimate-one-15-device-universal-remote-black/3721047.p?skuId=3721047

it usually goes on sale for $79.99 once a month or so at BB.

really nice, I love that I can control my xbox one X, OLED TV and receiver.

you need a hub to use on ps4 pro, but since I use xbox one X as my 4k player, it does not matter to me

Pretty much the whole gaming mouse and keyboard section is on clearance here...even some of the headsets.  Too much to list but stuff not only from Razer but Logitech and Steel Series (very underrated) too.  They all went on clearance about the same time last year too, got a Logitech G710+ and love it.

All the display TVs are on clearance at my nearest Walmart. Found a 50 inch Samsung curved for $398.
Not to be a Debbie Downer, but when I inquired about buying a clearanced display TV at Walmart two weeks ago, I was told that I couldn't return it if there was anything wrong with it, so I bought a new one on clearance instead.

They've been on 24 hours a day every day for months or over a year in some cases. I'd pass unless it was super super super duper cheap. But to each their own. They also seem to usually have a hard time finding stands/remotes/manuals/etc around here for those.

They fed you bullshit. You can totally return it if it's defective in some way. If you're still not sure though, you can always return it at a different Walmart.
