Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

Just picked up Monster Boy for $21.xx that I had ordered online UPC: 810893030011

Everybody's Golf for $15 UPC: 711719504832

Watched Enter The Spider-Verse. Pretty damn good!

Decided to take a chance and asked the associate to ring up a copy of Dragon Age Inquisition Gold Edition expecting it to ring up $39.82 which was the price it had at a couple stores last year. Was very surprised when it rang up to $10.

Looked around and saw they had an Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition Console for $999.99. Checked the price tag and noticed it had been printed last year 12/7/17. This was highly unusual for a high priced electronic device and when something like this happens usually means the price is actually lower because there's no way a store would keep that price for over a year and have the thing take up shelf space. Took a couple minutes for an older gentleman who I'm assuming was the DM of electronics at that store to get a scanner. He came back, opened the cabinet, scanned the barcode and voila it rang up to $499, clearance price. So now I'm the owner of a Project Scorpio Xbox One X that I'm planning on reselling. For any CAGS out there. When looking at the prices on things, take a look at the dates on the price tags. If it's from last month, two months ago or 6 months ago, the price on it is usually the price of the item. If the date is from more than a year ago and especially if there's only one left of what you're looking at. Chances are high that the item is actually lower. I tested my hypothesis on a Samsung Galaxy Tab E Tablet that the tag said was $298. Checked the date and noticed it was also printed more than a year ago. Scanned it with the Walmart app and it rang up to $59. 80% percent off. Would have bought it too if it wasn't contracted with Verizon.

$500 was the msrp for Scorpio. Ebay prices aren't currently looking in your favor to turn a profit on it. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=project+scorpio&_sacat=0&LH_Sold=1&LH_Complete=1&rt=nc&LH_ItemCondition=1000

yeah, it really wasn't that rare of a system to begin with, I got one from gamestop in a used xbox one x online order

for all searches or some searches, if an item isnt in the store system anymore BS doesnt like to show the results now
It was doing it for the One X scorpio and dragon age. Not doing it for some other stuff though now that I read what you typed. I guess that's a good thing.

I thought you worked at Walmart? You should try to get put in the electronics section so you can get all the deals, that's legitimately the only benefit I can think of for working there.
You would think so, but they always got pissed when I spent more than 5 minutes in the electronics cage in the back of the store (when looking for something for a customer). Besides that, I probably spent more time zoning other departments compared to the amount of time I was in electronics. They had a tendency of sending me to zone fabrics/crafts and baby aisle, since those were adjacent to electronics and they generally only staffed one person at night and those people needed help.

Getting an Xbox One X finally. Obviously from Walmart. Question is...they now use Allstate for their protection plans. They offer a 3 year plan for 35. What is everyones opinion on getting the warranty. More so now that its changed to Allstate?

$10 each at one of the Super Walmarts in Lafayette, La

Found 3 of the Switch Horipads for $7 each yesterday. Actually found them last week but due to the massive snowfall we had the store was heavily understaffed and I couldn't find anyone to get them out of the glass case. Came up empty at another store that supposedly had 3 more.

it's a YMMV thread buddies, I only post BS links if there are stores reporting in stock at discount pricing, I picked up 10 packs at a buck each

I understand the YMMV nature - usually your links are pretty widespread though, that is why I mentioned it. All good though, I'll just keep on the lookout.

BS is showing 126 stores, not all in stock though, at $1.00, 4 stores here. I saw the same product packaged with a NEW label at the top of it in the checkout aisles so it's probably a case of new packaging replacing the sold sku like what happened with the jack links beef sticks, albeit this doers have the newer logo already on it so idk, might wanna add an alert for it if up your alley

I'm 3 hours away. Wish me luck.
Good luck! Remember I drove 3 hours to get a Wii U back when they were still in production and a few months after it came out for $100/each. Good times.

I probably wouldn't go to a store for that low of a discount for only 1 of them but if you got the time and some good music, might as well.

yeah 3 hours is a bit much given current bundle pricing, I guess if you had multiple good deals to get it could pan out

The thrill of the hunt is strong in that guy driving 3 hours but its all good we all are hunting for the deals and who knows what else he might find there.
