Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

The lady at my Walmart couldn't find any of those $21 TVs in the back despite a couple showing up on Brickseek. I'm not sure she actually looked though, considering her attitude and that I've never been able to successfully get anything from the back at this particular Walmart.

Oh well, why have a 720p TV without component input anyway, I'd use it for playing PS2-era consoles in their native resolution and ideally without needing additional converters.

Had the same thing happen at a walmart near me. Showed 12 of those TVs in stock on brickseek and employee scanner in store. "None could be found". How do 12 TVs just disappear.....

Nice haul today. Had to go to 3 different stores, but grabbed

Mortal Kombat komplete edition Xbox 360 for $9
Rodea sky soldier Wii u for $1
Mortal Kombat vs DC Xbox 360 for $1
Professor Layton miracle mask 3ds for $3

I went to the store closest to me that supposedly has the Huawei laptop on limited stock. The lady couldn't find it in the cages behind the registers. It's probably in the back somewhere, but I didn't care enough to push her any further.

It can be because of a number of things.

They really are in the back but their backroom is so disorganized that there's no way to actually find them.

Or they got stolen. Are those the 29'' or the 32''? Because those sized tvs are light enough that people can brazenly grab em and run out the doors with em. I've seen it happen and I've seen people try to do that.

Too bad they're not as smart as this guy.

I have struck out on the Huawei and MSI laptops at different walmarts becuase they just checked the cage and I didnt want to push it and ask them to look in the back. One of them then went OOS on the MSI one a few days later so guess they found it...

Woman I asked about the Huawei laptop *Corrected* me to saying its pronounced Hawaii, and then typed in the UPC to an app on her phone that wasnt the walmart app (looked like it was for internal use), and said "nope says we have none and it shows deleted". Without offering to check or anything, as they have no laptop cage in electronics, so everything is in the back. so that was cool. Cant try to say "well the app and website say you have it", because they just say that its always inaccurate and keep moving. Frustrating at times.

Especially since I struck out on both laptops and multiple PSVR headsets. One store had, of all bundles, the VR Worlds bundle. But it was opened and returned. both games still sealed, but the cables were unwrapped, and the headset wasnt in any protection other than the inner box it fits in. Not gonna get a V1 that someone else used and returned unless it was hardcore cleaned, so i passed.

I had someone look for the Huawei laptop at two WM's in Arnold MO and Maplewood MO, which both said limited stock. Neither said to have had it. Feel free to try if you are near any of the stores in the St Louis area but this was our outcome.

Rechargeable, I would assume other brand chargers can't be used with them...
In my experience rechargable batteries are universal. I have energizer, rayovac, duracell and even radioshack rechargable batteries that I use all on the energizer charger. Now back in the day they were a bit more finicky though. Also interesting note that the picture says works on all chargers/is universal.

If it says Limited Stock on those laptops, 99% of the time it's referencing the display model. I actually bought a couple of display models of them a little over a year ago when stores still had the displays out. I'm not sure what they do with display models for laptops they've discontinued, though.

If you got the space and are serious about some PS2 at its absolute best I’d find someone giving away a Sony CRT HDTV, those things were awesome despite their massive weight.

That or if you don’t mind running PCSX2 you can get some awesome results there.

Bah struck out on the batteries but that's not surprising given it said limited stock anyway.  I was more disappointed that I went there for boggle and I couldn't find it in the board games isle. Guess they don't sell it anymore for whatever reason.

(Sorry to go a bit off topic...)

I see free/cheap Trinitrons in my area fairly often. Especially in the summer months. (If they are charging for a CRT, just tell them you'll haul away for free and they'll usually accept it.)

I scooped a 36" hulking beast of a Trinitron a few summers ago. The damn thing was MASSIVE, and I should've had at least three people carrying it. (Just had myself and a good friend.)

The thing is amazing for anything pre HDMI.

Just ordered this bad boy for my consoles: http://www.gretrostuff.com/store/gcompsw/

Looks pretty good I remember his scart one

Found this gem the other day...they just put it out too, I'm at this Walmart all the time. They also had some special editions of whichever Force Unleashed came with that little USB guy.

Forgot to post this earlier, but I went to the Walmart in Boonville, IN last Saturday, they had a bin of clearance games. Picked up the following:

RBI Baseball 17 (NS) $7

FIFA 15 (PS3) $1

Just Dance 3 (PS3) $1

Ski & Shoot (PS2) $1 - this didn't ring up at any price so they ended up giving it to me for $1

FIFA 11 (PS3) .03

EyePet (PS3) .03 which I don't think has been on any of the 3 cent lists before.

They also had COD Ghosts Hardened Edition (X360) but at full price, as well as some other old PS3 games at MSRP. Passed on the following deals:

FIFA 16 Deluxe Ed (PS3) $13 - regular edition was also this price

Destiny Taken King (PS3) $5

Sesame Street Once Upon A Monster (X360) $1

They also had some other games in the bin that I didn't have time to scan but all in all it was definitely worth the trip even though I struck out at the other 2 WM's in the area.

Mortal Kombat komplete edition. Xbox 360. $9.

SKU 19861337

Not the sexiest price, but still decent, if, like me you got hooked on mortal Kombat recently after playing 11

Its $13 pre-owned at gs before any discounts. DLC is all on-disc.

my walmart only has 1 game that's been clearanced. Street fighter x tekken for ps vita.

it's been in the clearance aisle for a couple of months and last week they moved it to a clearance end cap by electronics. I asked the lady in electronics as i was checking out if 29.99 was the actual price or was it ringing up any lower.

She couldn't even get the game to scan and even after typing in the upc and everything it still wouldn't come up so she had to call her manager. Her manager casually walked over and scanned it and the girl in electronics said "so is 29.99 the price or is it lower now?" and the manager looked at the game and said "I really can't make it any lower than that. that's going to be as low as it goes."

WTF I know that's not true and that's some bs. It's kinda a deal for the game but not the kind of deal I want

I'd say no, its a bad flip if thats what they are aiming for, and we know Jurai's stance on some stuff. I don't see the reason for 3 either, but thats up to those people.
definitely a bad flip, never seen it on any bump at gamestop and i just passed on a copy on ebay for around $8. though my guess is they hope the value will go up like the first one but it went up because of a shorter print run and physical being amazon exclusive.

Exactly my thought on it. At most youll get the 5 bucks back in trade at Gamestop. Maybe a few bucks more from a mom and pop game place. I reminded myself long ago that wasnt even close to worth my time.

Looking to buy a tv here soon my 08 Samsung model is on its last legs it keeps turning off and on.Any 46"-55" out there worth checking out? Will be used for gaming and TV of course

TCL, I bought a 55" P605 a couple years ago. They changed their model numbers since so now it would be the 6 series I believe. Use it for streaming, tv and Xbox and it's been really good.

Not all in the size you're looking for and not quite sure what your budget is, but these are some of the TVs that Walmart has put on clearance recently...it definitely feels like it's time for the new models as most of the WMs I've stepped into in the last couple of weeks have the entire electronics section covered in yellow clearance balloons. In any case, here's some cheap TVs; credit goes to original posters where relevant.

Any of our resident TV experts willing to point out which, if any, of these deals are worth jumping on? I'm looking for a nice 50"-60" TV for my game room and a decent 30"-40" TV for my bedroom, so if one or more of these fit the bill, please let me know! :D/

Those are all budget sets. None of them are going to excel at HDR. Def don't spend money on the more expensive ones. They are all cheap, so you can pick your favorite cheap one. Individual reviews can be found here.

Stores near me show 3 of the 32" Element TVs for $25 each. Terrible television, but also cheap enough for me to buy and set up in spare rooms. Maybe the garage.

A Walmart I've been fighting with for the last 7 months made the news.

https://www.wtsp.com/article/news/crime/walmart-clerks-accused-of-marking-down-video-games-to-1-in-5000-fraud-scheme/67-fb6a694d-474e-4568-aa35-f05f597c1f02?fbclid=IwAR2c5RWsxlEE5Sq30cFZqhKZZjUKrsj6wc1twGm-D9iJ-Qnap5ShPNVQdL4

Ironic thing is the two guys they got aren't even the original perpetrators. One is still at the store and the old dept manager got transferred to another store.
Damn. I think $500 or more is officially a felony.

Jurai, is that your store that keeps getting cleaned out after you post deals?
