Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.


When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.


Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

From my experience. It doesn't really matter what the item is. As long as it's worth more than $5 and small enough to conceal they'll grab it to then give to someone else to "return it" or do it themselves by walking right back inside. Other people just steal for no other reason that because they could.

 
This has probably already been mentioned but don't always go by the Walmart App if you are looking at prices for return or whatever. Some games were listed as $20-$25 less in price on the App than in store. For instance, Mario+Rabbids says it's $28.25 at my local store when it's actually $49.99. Far Cry 5 for both PS4 and Xbox One is 27.39 on walmart.com and in store and $1 cheaper on Xbox One. The actual price of both in the store is $49.99 so yeah, always call the actual store before driving.

I wasn't referring to brickseek. I returned some games and got store credit for games that were priced less in the app but more at the store so I received the store price. My whole point is that if you want to see how much game prices are at your local store, don't view it on the app because like my examples show, the price in store is more than the price on the app.

This is strictly for returning items. Obviously, they will price match the app if you are buying something.

Hmmm, that would explain his vague bitching about Microsoft and trying to get free stuff without describing the actual "problem" in the XBL Deals thread. I think we need a phantom zone to throw people like this in permanently

Gotta love it.  Store in Mesa, AZ dropped the Gears 5 XB1X console to 50% off.  Gone already of course.  Guess the manager wanted one for cheap?  

 
The *Jumbo Fortnite Llama Drama Loot Pinata has dropped from $80 to $30 at my Walmart. It has two figures, a bunch of weapons and accessories, and a lot of building plates. This really should have been the MSRP in the first place, so it's not an amazing deal. It's no gamestop $5 for 4 figures pricing... A few places have it for $5, but I don't see stock.

This isn't Walmart clearance but if you have a car seat that you are not using, you can take it to Walmart and they will give you a $30 gift card. This deal starts today. There is a limit of 2 returns per person. I just did it and got my gift card
 
Wow they upped it from 10$ to 30$? nice.  Maybe I will hit a couple garage sales.  I saw one yesterday near the closest walmart 2 counties over that had 2 or 3 sitting out by the driveway.

Oh it will be. I've seen three people on facebook marketplace groups asking for "carseat donations" and in the comments, people are saying don't give it to the OP, give it to them so they can get their Walmart gift card.

i bought it, it was indeed the steelbook version. 1 day shipping as well. pretty satisfied with the purchase, just waiting for the fall Wastelanders update, not sure if its out yet or not.

 
I found a store with 4 of the gamer laptops on clearance, only display models available. They refuse to sell them, so whatever I guess. Maybe manufacturers don't allow it, but then why display something you don't have and can't sell? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

More than likely a pricing error, but my sister found these for .50 each. They had them in the kitchen section of our local store for some reason. She picked up several including a couple for me. Sound is not that great, but wasn't expecting much even at regular price(9.96).
