I have a 75 year old gentleman who wants to learn about computers. He has a Dell, but wants to be able to tinker around and build a PC from scratch. I’d like to teach him. Looking for any old computer that I can completely take apart and put back together and have it work, get online, etc. No OS is ok as I can install Windows 7 myself. Looking for something that was build by the user and not from a major company (Dell, HP, etc.)
It does not need to be fast as it will be primarily used for web browsing, YouTube videos, etc.
Anyone have any old, functional computer they would be willing to part with for this purpose?
