want pc help

I recommend strongly that you ask someone around you who is knowledgeable about upgrading. You need to know the model of your motherboard and your CPU before you can upgrade.
how about the procesors any one selling pentium III for cheap?
If you can find someone actually selling them, they may be cheap. I don't think Pentium IIIs have been made for at least 4 or 5 years, nor do I believe you'll be able to find a P3 mobo, either.

If you want a computer on the cheap, look at a Sempron (can be had for about $60 and some change) and a socket 754 motherboard (about the same price for a decent one).

If you want a slightly cheaper, but decidedly less powerful computer, look at older Athlon XPs and Socket A motherboards.
if you dont bump your thread after a while does it disactivate?
deactivate? No. However, during server cleanups, it will be deleted. Not sure how old a thread must be to be deleted or if it's done manually by moderators.
