War World NOT coming Wednesday (w/Super Puzzle Fighter)

It has been officially announced on the War World forums that the multiplayer mech-tastic shooter will make its debut this Wednesday alongside old-school puzzler Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. In celebration of this fact, Third Wave Games is hosting a special match of the PC version of War World, after which players are encouraged to stay up until 12:01 PT and download the XBLA version. Oh, and don't worry, the developers are "100% sure there will be at least 8-16 players online with the Xbox 360 version within an hour of the game's release on Wedsday," so you should have a few good folks to play with.

The folks over at Gamerscoreblog are saying this isn't coming out this week after all:

War World is not release this week according to all of the internal folks I've asked...

Sometimes there are many bowling pins being juggled, and developers can get their signals crossed - which is why until you see the press release for the week - nothing is official.

Oooh, yes! I thought this would be coming since it was on that list of August releases, but then wasn't sure because of Puzzle Fighter being released. I am also curious about the price, because it might be 1200 (hopefully not), since I don't recall two 800 point games ever coming out the same week.
 
you mean Super Puzzle Fighter is coming out wednesday (w/ war world) :D

PF and the Bomberman DLC are good enough for me!

I had to "break" in my d-pad but I can play SF II decently. I have some problems with 360's a few charge motions though.

no way they'll release two huge puzzle games on the same day. a puzzle fan like me would explode. along with Tekken online and Metroid, that would make this the best release week ever in quite some time.
