Received The Matrix trilogy yesterday. Didn't receive anything else nor did I receive any emails that it was shipped. Wonder when I will get the other 23 I ordered.

Sorry if the quality is a bit bad, had to take it with my blackberry, since my computer wouldn't recognize my digital camera for some reason

Did you send in the freebie 300, or one that had an actual UPC on the back?

I just called to check on my order--and out of the 19 or so, only one item was on backorder (one of the Sopranos)--which they said should be available any day. She was surprised--said that someone the other day had 11 items, and 7 of them were backordered.

FYI.....Casablanca is on backorder. Apparently all the people that received it already were ahead of me in the queue...although, they received my covers April 29th.

Here is the message:
Hi John,

Thank you for contacting Red2Blu.

Casablanca, Ultimate Collector's Edition (BD) is the title that is on backorder. We are expecting delivery of the title soon. Once we receive this item we will process your order and get it out to you as quickly as possible

Thank you for your patience,
Patty

I need to call and check on mine.

*Edit* I called, and they said they were waiting on my Planet Earth. The CSR quoted me 2-4 weeks for delivery.

I got my Blu-ray movies yesterday!!! I got the HP limited set, 300, firewall and blood diamond. I never got a shipping email from them. :(

One thing that I did noticed is that they overcharged me by $0.40. I am going to email them why the charged me more when my email receipt says otherwise...
Anybody successfully turn in the freebie 300 that was included with the A2's?
I can confirm that I sent a UPC-less HD-DVD of 300 and got the blu version.

Cool, thanks for the confirm.

Awesome! Thanks for the info!

Received my movies today.

I posted earlier in the thread that after talking to a CSR I had in my 3 Matrix covers from the 'Complete' Matrix trilogy and requested the Ultimate box set. The order was fulfilled no problem, so a nice bonus upgrade I guess.

Very nice program, I hope other companies offer up something similar.

FYI, Planet Earth is no longer up there. :(

I can't turn my $8 purchase into the Blu-ray version.

Also, for the Ultimate Matrix collection you need to submit a cover now, not the back slip. :(
just be careful you are actually getting an upgrade. For example the 300 hd dvd is better than the blu ray
I might have missed this, why is 300 on HD-DVD better?
How are the movies delivered? UPS? USPS? Fedex?
I think mine was shipped via UPS. Ill double check tonight.

When you sent in your cover for year 1 on Harry potter, was that it? CSR told me it had to have a barcode, but there is no barcode! >.
So uh, do you definitely need the cover, or could I try copying my cover and sending it in?
There's absolutely no way that would work.
I might have missed this, why is 300 on HD-DVD better?
It just has more extras. The movie itself, in terms of video, are exactly the same. The Blu-ray might even be argued as better since it includes an uncompressed PCM 5.1 track, in addition to the Dolby TrueHD track from the HD DVD edition.

Got my second order before my first today.

For those keeping track of these things I got:

Constantine

Blazing Saddles

Ultimate Matrix

Got my second order first as well...

Received Unforgiven, Letters from Iwo Jima, Lady in the Water and the Ultimate Matrix. I was one of the early people who sent in the back cover thing for the Matrix set.

Technically, I guess I could send in the Matrix again...using my brother or something....but seriously doubt I will.

Oh, I also bought some double blu ray cases from ebay for under 11 shipped (about a buck a piece). They were high quality and I was able to put the HD's in with the blus and store my recent Blockbuster used pickups as well. Solid stuff, hombres.

Is the Ultimate Matrix they sent out identical to the retail version? Did they molest the UPC area like slashing it or drilling a hole in it? I don't mind if it's not sealed as long as they don't molest the packaging.

It's signed sealed, and delivered..

seriously though, it's sealed, no drills, slashes, or molesting going on here

300 on HD DVD has one huge extra over the Blu-Ray version.
An In Movie Experience video that runs throughout the film showing the movie without the effects.
Very interesting when you see that about 98% of the movie was green screen.

This is corrected on the new super duper Blu-Ray edition (that is about a year too late if you ask me).
But the version you are getting in this deal is the original.

I was told by CS you can send either the back slip or the Matrix Revolutions cover for the Matrix collection. They did this since so many people dont have the back slip.

For those doing multiple orders. Are you doing them to the same address? What are your methods. I'm ecstatic at the results and have decided to do the rest of my WB's.

YAY! I got my order in today! I ordered 8 and got 8 sealed no marks, punch holes, nothing. I sent mine out exactly 3 weeks ago and I got them.

Has anyone taken the time to find out how much it costs to scan and replace the hd-dvd cover art at, say kinkos, per standard disc? I looked around the net but couldn't find anyone giving a number. If no one has, I will probably give it a try tomorrow morning and report my findings back here.
