Was the Verizon $20 Unlimited Text Axed/Discontinued?

I'm interested in getting texting on my phone (Verizon is our provider). I know they used to have a "deal" where you could get unlimited texting for $20 or 1,000 texts for $10 I believe it was, but when I go to the Verizon website it doesn't mention either plan anywhere. I'm guessing these plans may have gotten the ax?

Currently I have the 4gb data plan, and shared talk minutes with my family (family plan).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can't actually buy those plans. Pretty effed up too cause we had the unlimited text and when i upgraded to a smartphone we had to change the plan instead of individually giving me an option to buy data for my line.

i work for big red...there are 2 types of texting plans now, $10 for 1,000 total which is the added feature...and unlimited text thats built into the Share Everything plan

there were a few feature texting plans they did retire...$5 for 250 total, $10 for 500 outside VZW/unlimited in network, $20 for 5,000 out of network/unlimited in
