I might be missing something, but according to this the 1.5 TB and 1 TB are the same price.

That's quite a good deal. I bought the 2TB version for $80 this past November. The drive is quick and silent. I have about 1.4TB used on it for over 2,000 video files, and it works well.

Purchased the 1 TB model for $69.99 around black Friday from Amazon as a back-up external drive, still working perfectly.
